Todo

Good work, and it's almost at B class IMO. All that's needed is some spelling and grammar fixes. Hurricanehink 20:12, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it looks like a B-class. I think the grammar and spelling mistakes have been fixed. Can I upgrade it? íslenska hurikein #12(samtal) 20:24, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I got it. More impact is needed as the next todo. Hurricanehink (talk) 00:13, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Typhoon Nancy 1961

I wanted to see if there was anything recorded about Nancy in 1961. I was a young sailor on the USS Colonial (LSD-18). We were in the heart of Nancy for several days. The bridge on the Colonial stood 44 feet above the waterline. When we were in the trough, I had to look up to see the wave we were going to go over and look back at the wave we just went over. This is especially notable when the length of the ship sat flat in the trough and we were over 300 feet long! When we crested a wave, the bow submerged and blue water crashed into the bridge windshield. The Captain, Commander Jose Perry, sat in his chair and I could hear him saying, "come up, come up". If anyone has any doubts about Nancy, I'll be glad to tell them about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sockayefla (talkcontribs) 05:00, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Title

The lead says this typhoon was called "Super Typhoon Nancy" but the article title just refers to it as Typhoon Nancy. Which is it? The Rambling Man (talk) 14:37, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reanalysis Changes

If the West Pacific decides to undergo reanalysis for typhoons what would happen to well known Typhoons like Nancy. I mean during the 60's wind speeds were well too high and might have lower wind speeds than originally thought. LlayReactorUltra (talk) 07:50, 24 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
