Small Edit/Improvement Suggestions[edit]

This is a well-researched and engaging article, that does a good job of remaining as 'neutral' as possible (per Wikipedia's guidelines), given the complexity and nuance of the issue itself. My only comment that I could point to in this article that would improve it would be to add the 2020's as a part of the "History" section (because it is currently missing), and include a more detailed 'Race' section. This last addition shouldn't be too cumbersome as the topic of race and prisons is well-covered and theorized. Hosanna.galea (talk) 13:20, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Britanys1 edits very important[edit]

Britanys1 comments on the relationship between the prison industrial complex and the military industrial complex (which Angela Davis describes as "symbiotic") are very important and add crucial nuance to the entry. I made grammatical changes and edits to the post but the substance is well summarized and well written. Genevievejoelle (talk) 14:21, 30 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
