Charmander and rain
[edit]In the article, it says, "in the rain, a Charmander's life is not especially endangered.". But in one Pokemon episode, Ash has to shelter Charmander from the rain, and they act like it's really serious. Which one's right?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.182.178.220 (talk) 01:25, 7 May 2007 (UTC).
- Whatever the games say - the game and anime are separate canons. -Jeske (v^_^v) 04:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't say that. I mean, are Star Wars movies different canon from the games? 67.182.178.220 17:22, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- The Pokemon anime is a special case because, if you haven't noticed, the games radically differ from the anime in several aspects, and fans recognize two separate canons - the "official" one for the games, and the anime canons. See Pokémon (anime). -Jeske (v^_^v) 18:37, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
I guess you're right. I mean, in the show Pikachu can KO a Golem with Thunder, whereas in the game, a Pikachu can't even hurt a Golem with Thunder. Thanks for clearing that up. Sincerely,67.182.178.220 00:07, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Anime addition
[edit]I added a bit more detail on how ash meets up with charmander in the series. Plus i enhanced the photo due to it being really washed out its was practicly white.danieljackson 03:34, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- The picture is the original artwork, so as such it stays. Doing otherwise would likely create some fair-use problems. – mcy1008 (talk) 04:30, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
