Overall: Overall the article satisfies the requirements needed to qualify it for DYK. The hooks are interesting and sourced, and I find the original hook more interesting and "catchy" than the ALT1. I see no issues to prevent this hook from being approved. JJonahJackalope (talk) 13:45, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That honestly didn't even cross my mind. Definitely a missed opportunity. Too late now, though ezlev (user/tlk/ctrbs) 00:56, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
ezlev hmm, I have worries about ALT0. crackhead barney is funny and silly, but we don't want non-clickers to walk away with the idea that crackhead barney committed... y'know... high treason. 'tis unfortuante, but how about ALT0a? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/she) 20:38, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If ALT0 isn't an option I might prefer something totally new like
ALT3: ... that Crackhead Barney encouraged children at a New York City Police Department event to chant “abolish the police”?
but either one would need a re-review. ALT0a is fine if you want to take it now, but drop a {{DYK?again}} for me if you like ALT2 or 3 better, theleekycauldron :) ezlev (user/tlk/ctrbs) 20:46, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm kinda part-time at the prep sets these days because of winter semester, so I think it's probably better to tick both hooks and let someone else promote later. both are cited and interesting (to say the least) :D theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (they/she) 20:50, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
