Title

Astropulse, האופה, Bmnr988, Wikipedialuva, Nirva20, Derek R Bullamore It would be preferable for the article's title to be changed from Army Radio to Israel Army Radio with the redirects from Israel Defense Forces Radio, IDF Radio, Galei Zahal, Galey Zahal, Galei Tzahal, Galey Tzahal, Galei Tsahal and Galatz changed accordingly, perhaps adding a redirect from Galey Tsahal.

Originally I thought the change should be to Galatz (compare Galgalatz which is wiklinked in the article), or one of the transliterations, frequently used in print and online including WP but an English title is probably better. Mcljlm (talk) 23:15, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

yes army radio is very generic - should be the popular name or something that adds some context like Israeli Army Radio Astropulse (talk) 23:20, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wondering about the name Astropulse I came across https://uri.mitkadem.co.il/IARadio.html which is headed Israeli Army Radio but "Galatz", IDF Radio or GLZ is immediately below. The text's first line has Israel Army Radio ("Galatz" or just "IDF Radio") but later Israeli Army Radio and the station's Hebrew names appear. Mcljlm (talk) 04:25, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Israeli army radio is better imo. since already exist and is being redirected to this page Astropulse (talk) 04:28, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Israeli Army Radio isn't one of it's names whereas Israel Army Radio, which is and like Israeli Army Radio already exists as a redirect, is Astropulse. Mcljlm (talk) 10:43, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 14 July 2024

Army RadioIsraeli Army Radio – to be more descriptive. Israeli Army Radio already redirect to Army Radio Astropulse (talk) 04:10, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support: It is a reasonable request as the current name may be confused with other countries radio systems. This will make it more clear and easier to understand. Bunnypranav (talk) 08:33, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As I have indicated above Bunnypranav Israel Army Radio, which already exists as a redirect, would be better as it's one of the station's names. Mcljlm (talk) 10:53, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
