Hola

Hola, he visto que hablas español. ¿Tienes cuenta también en la Wikipedia en español? Allí quiero ayuda en traducir unos articulos de esta Wikipedia sobre la política del Reino Unido. WaltonOne 07:48, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Muchas gracias. Para empezar, ¿puedes corriger los siguientes articulos que he traducido allíallí que he traducido? Mi español no es perfecto y me preocupo que no los he traducido correctamente, y que he cometido muchas faltas de gramática.no comma for two subjects, for three one comma and no comma before an and, i.e. Peatnutbutter, Bread, and Jelly would be Mantequilla de Maní, Pan y Mermelada.
Cholga is a SUPERSTAR¡Talk2Cholga!Sexy Contribs 22:50, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
También hay es:David Davis (político) (Inglés: David Davis (British politician)) para corriger. WaltonOne 17:50, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments on the Richmond discussion page

As my last comments there attempt to make clear, you're welcome to write whatever you wish on that page. You are not welcome to interfere with, destroy the integrity of, make unreadable or make a complete hash out of other people's existing comments (namely, mine). Seems like simple common courtesy to me. Put your comments back in, in the normal (indented) fashion that 99.9% of people here use, and there's no problem. +ILike2BeAnonymous 18:54, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, if you make the changes as described here Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#Others.27_comments.:
Interruptions: In some cases, it is OK to interrupt a long contribution, either by a short comment (as a reply to a minor point) or by a headline (if the contribution introduces a new topic). In that case, add "<small>Headline added to (reason) by ~~~~</small>"). In such cases, please add before the interruption.
that should do the trick. They're not far off. - Richfife 21:58, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent cut and paste move

Hello, Cholga. It appears that you copied and pasted El Cerrito, Contra Costa County, California to El Cerrito, California. Please do not move articles by copying and pasting them because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself using the move link at the top of the page, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you, Zzyzx11 (Talk) 14:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but you really have to go through the process of posting a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves because the El Cerrito, California page has been a disambiguation page since 2002.[1] Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 14:51, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, I should let you know that Wikipedia:Naming conventions (settlements)#United States says:

"The canonical form for cities in the United States is City, State (the "comma convention"). Those cities that need additional disambiguation include their county or parish (for example Elgin, Lancaster County, South Carolina and Elgin, Kershaw County, South Carolina)".

We normally do not use City, State (city) or City, State (CDP) Therefore, some of your recent moves of the El Cerrito, Riverside County, California, Mountain View, Contra Costa County, California, and Mountain View, California articles have been reverted by me and a few others. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 04:30, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pt. Isabella Page

Cholga: nice updates to this page. It has been much improved over the past few days. The footnotes are excellent. You still missed cleaning up one sentence I pointed out that has at least three grammatical errors ("The park is has a canal were dogs may swim in calm bay waters called Hoffman Chanel.") but that will give you something to work on today! --Fizbin 15:58, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I had to side with IL2BA on the Pt. Isa Park page. See my comments on that talk page.--Fizbin 15:47, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FYI - as an example of what I consider to be decent copy editing, take a look at the edits I made to the Lake Anza page today. All of the previous information is intact, but it is much more concise.--Fizbin 16:35, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Ass"

lol, I directed that at User:ILike2BeAnonymous; sorry for the confusion. —lensovettalk02:21, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

President of Congress of India

Please note that there is no such post in Indian parliament. The Indian National Congress is one of the political parites in India and Sonia Gandhi is just the president of INC. --(Sumanth|Talk) 11:32, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

80 image section

about the article on Richmond, California, sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but what is the "80 image section"? you requested a comment on it (a long time ago... haha yea i've been on a long wikibreak)... Hno3 16:03, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cholga, Chill

Your edits this afternoon on the Pt. Isabella talk page are extremely unprofessional. I've said this before - don't lower yourself to IL2BA's level of discourse. You will lose in the end. You have passion and info about subjects. IL2BA has, generally, a better sense of what makes a good Wiki page. When you respond like you did this afternoon you lose credibility in the eyes of dispassionate observers. Don't allow that to happen.--Fizbin 23:32, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leave me an email address or a phone number - we should chat offline.--Fizbin 00:15, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You may have over-crypticized things. I gave it a shot.--Fizbin 00:37, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And it failed.--Fizbin 00:38, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just ignore IL2BA, he doesn't do anything except arguing. Chris! my talk 19:02, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oakland

Has EBX ever used "The Town" as a nickname for Oakland? I tried to get it added (or, actually, replaced), but failed because I had no non-blog sources. If EBX has ever mentioned it, it should be good enough. Thanks. Paul Haymon 08:31, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I understand what a struggle it can be to get something included. I basically gave up on the "The Town" thing (the debate is still on the talk page), because I couldn't come up with a source, even though I know that it's a valid nickname. It's funny how editors demand sources for certain things but let other things sit on a page for months without saying anything about them. Anyhow, if you can possibly get the actual articles where these nicknames (O-Town and The Town) are found, that should be enough. Here's hoping. Paul Haymon 06:20, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I've lived in Oakland for virtually my whole life. Paul Haymon 17:33, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
At this point, I'm working on Oakland Public Library, McClymonds High School, and McClymonds Educational Complex. If you could help with any of these articles, that would be great. I'd be happy to do what I can on other Oakland-related articles. If there's any article in particular that you'd like my input or support with, let me know. Paul Haymon 22:09, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re your edit to Richmond, California. I think that you may like to source that material, because I removed it as it is potentially false information. Here is that diff. Auroranorth 13:29, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SFBAProject

You know, in the time you spent tagging articles for assessment, you could have been rating the articles yourself, right? :)Kurykh 23:59, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The standard rating template is . Just fill in the blanks accordingly, using Wikipedia:WikiProject San Francisco Bay Area/Assessment and your judgment as a guide. If you rate something wrong, don't worry! Someone will come by and fix it...eventually. —Kurykh 00:07, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

McClymonds

Thanks for your edit, but it was misplaced. It should have gone on the McClymonds Educational Complex article, as McClymonds High School is no longer operating. Just a heads-up. I can move the info. Paul Haymon 23:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

Well ... it's certainly not the clearest photograph ever. I work on the guideline "would I understand what this photograph was illustrating if it didn't have a caption?", and in this case the answer would probably be "No". It would certainly be better to get an improved photo of the construction work. ELIMINATORJR 01:26, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 01:28, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Richmond Medical Center

Hey, please be careful next time when you edited on others' talk page. I didn't do anything on the Richmond Medical Center. And I don't know any pictures you said on my talk page. (Addaick 02:02, 23 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Note, Cholga has done this before. See here, for example. --Dreaded Walrus t c 02:05, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RMC Photos

Cholga,

Personally the only photo that needs to be there is the top one on the article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:KaiserPerm.jpg). All of the ones in the gallery, including the construction one, are of poor quality and add nothing to the article. Kinda sounds like maybe I am IL2BA. :-)--Fizbin 02:52, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
