Melissa Coates (born June 18, 1972) is a professional wrestler, fitness model, and bodybuilder.
Career
Coates appeared at WWE Backlash 2005, during the "Masterlock Challenge" segment. After this initial appearance, Coates was signed to a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). However, Coates left the company to work for wXw and refocus her training. Soon after training in wXw, Coates began regularly working for Ohio Valley Wrestling, often facing off with several of OVW's divas. After a stint in OVW, Coates was then assigned to Deep South Wrestling as the Bag Lady. Soon after, Melissa began to undergo an attire change, dressing more diva like and began feuding with Krissy Vaine and Angel Williams, winning all of her matches. However, Melissa's stay in DSW was also short lived and she began touring the independent circuit. In her first appearance on the indy circuit, Melissa won the NWA / GCW Women's Championship from former WCW star Daffney Unger while wrestling for Great Championship Wrestling. Along the way she defeated former WWE developmental talents Tracy Taylor and Trenisha. Coates has made several appearances for Georgia wrestling promotions in a wrestling and non-wrestling role and also ended up on the winning end of several bouts. She currently wrestles for NWA Anarchy as a heel, challenging and defeating male wrestlers in a battle of the sexes, so far defeating "Skater Boi" Chris King, Wesley "Rabbit" Grissom and Billy Buck.
