I'm in dude. One thing I want to do with the page is to add the big equipment part back. I wrote it (well it was small back then) about I year ago and me and the admins have been in a constant fight weather to keep it or not because it has no sources. Sooooo I'll put the thing back and lets try to find some sources. Just to warn you there was one source that was put, but it was from a page that basically copied the Buckethead article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TimmyTermite (talkcontribs) 20:36, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nice! See the task force's talk page for a discussion about this list. Maybe we can find a solution. --Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 21:53, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey man, I'd be glad to join the Task Force. I'm a big Buckethead fan, and I hate when articles about him are inaccurate. Also, I have a picture I took at a Buckethead concert that you might be able to use on the main page. It's a little out of focus, but give me a break, it was really dark and everyone around me was taller than me XD. Here's the link: http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/7079/buckethead72508gooduf1.jpg Thanks for the offer, and I accept! Mr. Brawl (talk) 19:35, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Subpage created. Please be sure to tag the subpage for deletion when you are done with it. And be very sure that no one makes any inbound links to the page while it's still in your user-space.

Note: This page was originally created with the pagemove warnings at the top. This was pretty clearly inappropriate since that page had never been moved at all. The contents of this page should be viewed with considerable suspicion until they are independently verified. Thanks. Rossami (talk) 13:10, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

re: the message you left on my former IP talk page

I tend to watch all music related projects without "clanning up" officially to them all. I will watch your task force pages and try and support when I can. I have over 6000 pages in my watchlist including just about every Buckethead related article. So tracking how the task force is doing shouldn't be hard. It will be nice to see a task force enforce WP:V and WP:NPOV on the bHead page and also make sure all the album articles follow the WP:ALBUM rules too. The Real Libs-speak politely 23:24, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PS, Your task force talk page needs a talk page header and a Guitarist Project template. The Real Libs-speak politely 23:29, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well structured task force layout. I am primarily a vandal hunter. I have double checked that all Buckethead related paged are on my watchlist. I have many administrator friends who help me keep Wiki positive and encyclopedic. I will make sure that the work of the Buckethead task force won't be undone by trolls, linkspammers, soapboxers, pov pushers and vandals. If you have any trouble with editors who ignore wikipedia policy with Buckethead related pages and... do not adhere to discussion/consensus when it comes to these articles, let me know and I will take care of them. RE:

Just a friendly reminder, when linking to pages that are frequently updated (such as AIV) link to the actual edit and not the page in general.

For example, when talking about BJbot's edit to your page instead of saying User talk:HexaChord i would say this edit.

And i might join the Buckethead taskforce in a couple of days after i'm done working on an article i'm trying to get up to GA standards. - -' The Spook (TALK) (Share the Love with Barnstars) 22:37, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it's Chinese Democracy you are working on, that's BH related and we could do it under the Task Force banner. I don't see the project too narrow, quite the contrary. But do as you wish, you're always welcome. And, yeah, I will remind your note in the future. Didn't think this would vanish that fast though. --Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 22:44, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Buckethead to do stuff

hi, sorry about the picture thing but this is about other stuff. we have added all the albums of Buckethead (solo career) and even i did super diorama theater (later was erased) but i think we are missing something, i mean the song he has released on his web page shouldnt they suposed to be mentioned both songs "Game of Death" and "I Like it Raw", ill try make them a page to each and i woul really apreciate if you can somehow relate them to Buckethead bio. Thanks--Pachon (talk) 19:00, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

About the picture: That was just a joke! *lol* You may built this songs as a sub-page on the task force space. Super Diorama is there, too. [2] So we can make it a real good article first, before releasing it to the world. ;-) If you need any help you also can use the task force page or the talk page there [3] for your requests. --Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 19:04, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

you seem to be the resident buckethead expert, could you tell me if its true what the wiki article says, that the five monolith albums are meant to be listened to at once, and they sync up?

I think it is meant like this and did ask Buckethead's friend Travis Dickerson about it. You can read his answer in the article. So there won't be an official "Yes" or "No". But IMHO the title alone tells... --Say Headcheese!--hexaChord2 20:20, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Devildub.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:52, 10 December 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 23:52, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Devildub.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Devildub.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rockfang (talk) 23:52, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFD

Allmusic and BMI are not significant coverage in reliable sources. I can't tell if the sources mentioned in the AFD are significant coverage because I can only read like two sentences. An article existing about a song that didn't chart doesn't mean that this article should stay. Just because no one bothered to nominate it for deletion, doesn't mean that it is notable. Better source request for File:Piano-Magic-Low-Birth-Weight.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Piano-Magic-Low-Birth-Weight.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talkpage. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 19:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you undo my edit to the Perils of Pauline page?

Why did you undo my edit to the The Perils of Pauline (1914 serial) page? You said it was "vandalism" and that I provided no information as to why I made the update. I did in fact try my best to provide an explanation within the 200 word limit.

There are several longstanding rumors about this film which go back to the 1930's-1940's time frame. There is no reason for rumors or "urban legends" about films to be repeated on wikipedia. In this particular case, a private company has been claiming a "famous" scene from this film was made along their rail line. That info along with links for this company were on this wikipedia page. The problem is that the scene they are alluding to was ever in this film.

I have made several attempts to delete bogus information on this and another old film, only to have people not knowledgable of the subject matter revert the pages back and accuse me of vanadlism.

I am not angry, just a bit frustrated that sincere attemps to improve the accuracy of this resource have been so quickly slapped down.

98.169.176.69 (talk) 21:20, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is: You don't have a source for your statement. I don't know if you're right or not but the section in the article has a source. Find a good source or ask for one on the article's talkpage. ----Say Headcheese!-hexaChord2 21:25, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not adding info into the body of the article itself which would need a cited source. I thought the best way to deal with a rumor is to just not mention them at all. The problem is that this company has made a false claim on a website which is then cited as a source.

Surely there must be a wikipedia method to handle this? Otherwise every false claim on the internet on any subject could be added to wikipedia and there would be no possible method to remove it. There can't be "correction" sources to cite for every rumor that can be cited on the internet on any subject. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.169.176.69 (talk) 21:50, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
