Yes, sorry about that, I was reverting to an old version but did not realize you had reverted to an even older revision beforehand. I have undone it. -RunningOnBrains 04:22, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your attention to the article! I'll have a look through your concerns and get back to you once everything's fixed up. Lankiveil (speak to me) 23:20, 16 January 2009 (UTC).
Thank you DiverseMentality for voting in my successfully closed RfA! I'm glad that you trust me. Ping me if you need anything! Best regards, --Kanonkas : Talk 19:31, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
RfA thankspam
Thank you for your participation in my recent RfA, which failed with 90/38/3; whether you supported, opposed or remained neutral.
Special thanks go out to Moreschi, Dougweller and Frank for nominating me, and I will try to take everyone's comments on board. Thanks again for your participation. I am currently concentrating my efforts on the Wikification WikiProject. It's fun! Please visit the project and wikify a few articles to help clear the backlog. If you can recruit some more participants, then even better. Apologies if you don't like RfA thankspam, this message was delivered by a bot which can't tell whether you want it or not. Feel free to remove it. Itsmejudith (talk), 22:42, 21 January 2009 (UTC) |

RfA thanks
Hi, I am reviewing your article, Seeing Sounds, for GA and have left my initial comments at Talk:Seeing Sounds/GA1. In general, the article looks good. Some of the prose needs clarification and perhaps some of the quotes should go into blockquotes or quoteboxes. Please feel free to contact me with comments or questions. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 16:39, 27 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the comment on my talk page, and I may just do that. Apart from the refs, is there currently any issue with the article that would stop you agreeing to put it to GA? Lankiveil (speak to me) 10:50, 29 January 2009 (UTC).
- Hey, is there anything else that needs to be done before it can be passed? Giggy (talk) 13:54, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
thank you
My RFA passed today at 150/48/6. I wanted to thank you for weighing in on the RFA--I will do everything I can to uphold the policies of this site, and try to make it a better place. All the comments, questions, and in particular the opposes I plan to work on and learn from, so that I can hopefully always do the right thing with the huge trust given to me. rootology (C)(T) 08:26, 1 February 2009 (UTC) |
RfA thanks
Thank you for the trust you placed in me by supporting my RfA (which passed and, apparently, I am now an admin!). I will do my best to continue to act in a way that is consistent with the policies of wikipedia as well with our common desire to build and perfect this repository of human knowledge; and can only hope that you never feel that your trust was misplaced. Thanks again! --Regent's Park (Rose Garden) 00:07, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

I am reviewing your article, Alicia Keys, for GA and have left some comments at Talk:Alicia Keys/GA1. Just a few things listed, as it is a wonderful article. I did some copy editing which you are free to change. Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 22:21, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for another review, Mattisse. I'll get to it ASAP. DiverseMentality 22:32, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Tools
Why the lack of extra tools? I appreciate some people don't want the bit but I'm sure it would come in handy at times.... Pedro : Chat 16:08, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hey there, Pedro. I'm going to have to pass for now for now. Considering that Spring semester at school begins Monday, I'm not sure how active I'll still be. I also don't want to rush into becoming an admin; I want to make sure I'm 100% ready for the position. Thanks for the thought, though. DiverseMentality 20:26, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Of course, and I understand your RL commitments. Let me know when you fancy a week of purgatory and I'd be happy to nominate if you wanted. Happy editing! Pedro : Chat 23:38, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Sorry - I accidently reviewed Stargate (production team)
By mistake I reviewed Stargate (production team) and transcluded Talk:Stargate (production team)/GA1. I don't know how you want to handle it. You can just go ahead and do your review and ignore mine. I did not notify the nominator, User:Efe. Sorry! Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 21:49, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- You got to it first, go ahead. No worries. DiverseMentality 22:27, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- OK. I don't know how that happened! Thanks for being gracious about it! Regards, —Mattisse (Talk) 23:32, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Eve - Here I Am.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Eve - Here I Am.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:07, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
What?!?!
No mention of Chris Brown's canceled Grammy performance and investigation for assaulting a woman? I was watching Chris Brown to see if anybody would add anything, but it's like nobody knows! I know, I know, be bold, but still! --Crackthewhip775 (talk) 03:16, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Alicia Keys POV
Regarding your edit here; what part of the section do you feel is POV? DiverseMentality 04:25, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Every part of the section. It's supposed to discuss the music style of the singer, but is, instead, a compilation of praises of how she is great, and has great artistry, and is the best thing to ever happen to music. I've read many criticisms of Alicia Keys, especially of her last album from reputable sources that claim how she is overrated (consider a Chicago Tribune article, or Washington Post: "When I think of her [Alicia Keys], I can't help but type 'overrated.'" Theres' a host of other articles. While I do not expect that these sources should definitely be mentioned in the article, I do expect some sort of balance. Orane (talk) 05:16, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- (My response at my talk page) Oh my. It should not be. It was just recently passed to GA status. First thing, I suggest to invite User:Journalist who tagged it to explain in detail the reasons why, and points lines where arguable. I believe its because of the quotes, but its quotes. Second, contact User:Mattisse since he/she is the one who reviewed it. If that part is indeed POVish in nature, Mattisse should have noticed it. I see what I can help when they're comments become live. --Efe (talk) 06:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, Orane is here. Since there are lots of quotations there, I think it should be balanced, including those negatives, as pointed out by him. --Efe (talk) 06:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- Consider the balance here as opposed to the section in the Alicia Keys article. Orane (talk) 08:36, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Chris Brown Vandalism
I thought you would like to know that User:Thetruthreport has now been banned. My apologies if I came off unusually pushy at Talk:Rihanna#2009 Grammy's. My goal wasn't to offend any other editors or to try and "have it my way" with the argument. I want what's best for the article like everyone else. --Whip it! Now whip it good! 23:59, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Userbox for GA reviews
The userbox {{User Good Articles reviewed}} has been updated so that it can now link to a page in your user subspace where you keep track of all your GA reviews, if you have such a page. This can be done by adding a | and then the name of your user subpage (or subsection of your regular user page) wherever you have the template called. For example, on my user page I am using
{{User Good Articles reviewed|6|User:Rjanag/GA reviews}}
which displays as
|
There is more information on how to do this at Template:User Good Articles reviewed.
Note: If you are not interested in doing this, you don't have to do anything; the template will still work for you exactly as it does now.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:N.E.R.D - Everyone Nose UK.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:N.E.R.D - Everyone Nose UK.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 22:57, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
Just to let you know that this page, which you PRODdded some time ago and was deleted accordingly, has had the deletion contested at today's DRV. In accordance with PROD policy, the article has now been restored. I am letting you know in case you wish to AFD it. Stifle (talk) 17:34, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Please consider adding this notable professional review from AllHipHop.com. Pete Wentz
Not sure why you edited out the official pete wentz twitter link from his wiki entry? It's very relevant to him as a person - you'll see he uses it many times a day...
Let me know. Thx. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Woknad (talk • contribs) 22:07, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- It's unnecessary external link. If you take a look at WP:EL and WP:NOTLINK, there should be a limited amount of links. Considering he has a blog that links to his Twitter, it's also redundant. DiverseMentality 22:25, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
How about this - the bartskulls films url is a deadlink and not a valid link for pete wentz. Let's remove that and add the twitter link - which as I mentioned is highly relevant.
