The 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group 6 is a UEFA qualifying group for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The group is composed of Croatia, England, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Andorra.

Qualification
  • Andorra and Kazakhstan are eliminated.
  • Belarus are able to qualify only via the UEFA play-off.

On the next matchday (9 September):

  • England will qualify for the World Cup if:
    • they defeat Croatia; OR
    • they draw with Croatia AND Ukraine do not defeat Belarus.
  • England will ensure at least 2nd place and a place in the UEFA play-offs if:
    • they do not lose to Croatia; OR
    • Belarus defeat Ukraine.
  • Croatia will be able to qualify only via the UEFA play-off if:
    • they do not defeat England.
  • Ukraine will be able to qualify only via the UEFA play-off if:
    • England defeat Croatia; OR
    • they do not defeat Belarus AND England draw with Croatia.
    • they lose to Belarus.
  • Belarus will be able to qualify only via the UEFA play-off if:
    • they defeat Ukraine AND England defeat Croatia.
  • Andorra will be certain of 6th place (ensuring their results do not count for the second-placed teams ranking) if
    • They lose to Kazakhstan

The fixture list was determined on 14 January 2008 in Zagreb, Croatia.[1] The August 2009 date in the international match calendar was moved forward by one week, from 19 August to 12 August 2009, at the FIFA Executive Committee meeting on 27 May 2008.[2]
