2010 United States House of Representatives elections in North Carolina

The 2010 congressional elections in North Carolina will be held on November 2, 2010 to determine who will represent the state of North Carolina in the United States House of Representatives. Representatives are elected for two-year terms; those elected will serve in the 112th Congress from January 2011 until January 2013.

North Carolina has thirteen seats in the House, apportioned according to the 2000 United States Census.

Republican Frank Roche said in 2009 that he would run against longtime incumbent David Price. [1]

This district is located in the southeastern part of North Carolina and includes the cities of Fayetteville, Lumberton, Whiteville, Rocky Point, and Wilmington.

Democrat Mike McIntyre has represented this district since 1997 and is running for reelection.[2] Retired army officer Nathaniel Cooper is challenging McIntyre in the primary but will run as an Independent in the general election if he does not get enough support.[3]

Democratic incumbent Larry Kissell will face a challenge from retired Army Colonel Lou Huddleston.[4]

Incumbent Patrick McHenry is seeking reelection. [5]

Political new comer Jeffrey Dale Gregory and 2004 Democratic Nominee Anne Fischer[6] are both actively seeking their party's nomination for 2010. [7]

Democrat Brad Miller will run for reelection.[8] Retired Navy meteorologist and Republican Bill Randall has agreed to run against Miller. [9]
