A tag has been placed on Paul Dunay requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of AVAYA

A tag has been placed on AVAYA requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on Siegal and Gale requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Gilo ö 00:59, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from AVAYA, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. roleplayer 01:02, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on ImmunoCAP, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

A tag has been placed on Jeffrey Mayersohn requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

The article Resource Exploitation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, too short, Wikipedia is not a dictionary

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Park management, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. General advice/warning

I came across your article Park management while stub-sorting and it led me to look at your contributions. Could I just point out a few things?

  • Wikipedia doesn't use capital letters in titles except for the first letter, and then for initials of proper nouns (name of a person, place, organisation etc). So it was not right to move Marine resources to Marine Resources, and I've moved it back. You've done this with quite a few articles
  • Wikipedia does not include dictionary definitions. If there is nothing else to say about something than what the words mean, then don't make it a Wikipedia article. Marine resources and Park management fail here.
  • All Wikipedia articles, even short stubs, need to have a source - the reference to where you got the information - all your articles that I've looked at fail here
  • All Wikipeida articles need to have a context so that they make sense to someone coming to the article from anywhere - they might have hit the "Random article" button. Your Chondritic Evolution fails this badly.
  • Stub tags go at end of article (see WP:LAYOUT) - you didn't explain why you moved it to the top of Grandmaster Ik Jo Kang
  • Titles such as Grandmaster are not used in WP articles - I have moved this article, again.
  • Please always add an Edit Summary to your edits, so that people can see why you have made changes you make.
  • Please read the advice given in the welcome message earlier in your talk page - there's a lot to learn about creating and editing Wikipedia articles, and it's great fun, but there are rules and guidelines to follow. If you don't, then people are likely to delete some of your articles, and eventually to propose blocking you for disruptive editing if you continue to break so many rules so regularly!

Good luck with your editing! PamD (talk) 11:30, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Aoki Astronomical Observatory, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Masakatsu Aoki. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
