Rollback (add request)

User:Amr2020eg

i request add images permission to add some pictures to a topic about Ari Meisel he is working on green building it is new way in building and consulting
If the images are free, your own work, I would suggest uploading them to Wikimedia Commons. You don't have to be autoconfirmed to upload images there, and they can be accessed on all Wikimedia projects. To unify your account there, visit Special:MergeAccount and follow the instructions. Best regards, PeterSymonds (talk) 13:17, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Therefore Rollback  Not done as was not a request for rollback. Valley2city 03:27, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Cody574

I would like to try using Huggle to revert vandalism, rather than doing everything by hand. Also, if this has any significance in whether I'm granted/denied rollback rights, I haven't reverted anything within the past few days because I was in a location with no Internet connection. Cody574 02:11, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Your account is still a bit new, but so far I am seeing good contributions. I recommend that you wait a few more weeks then come back and reapply. Cheers, Tiptoety talk 02:14, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:JuneGloom07

Having just come across an editor who vandalized one of the articles on my watchlist, I realized I could only undo one of the edits and had to manually remove the rest of the vandalism. I feel that if I were to be granted rollback rights my job of removing and reverting vandalism would be made easier and quicker. I hope you can see from my history that when I do revert/undo vandalism I warn the vandal appropriately. I promise to only use rollback to revert blatant vandalism. Thank you for considering my request. - JuneGloom07 (talk) 23:22, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
 Done upstateNYer 23:44, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:SkagitRiverQueen

Because I have more than 200 articles on my watchlist and do a reasonable amount of time reverting vandalism on them, it would, of course, be easier to use rollback for these types of edits. Thank you for considering my request - and happy 2010! SkagitRiverQueen (talk) 04:23, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Seems reasonable. ❄ upstateNYer07:12, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mrmewe

Have been very active at combating vandalism and would love an easier way to do so. Mrmewe (talk) 15:48, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Not enough edits. Give it about 2 or 3 weeks at Special:RecentChanges reverting vandalism and be sure to use appropriate warnings with vandals. ❄ upstateNYer16:12, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please note in this diff that I declined Mrmewe less than 12 hours before he reapplied for the same reasons, which he then removed before reapplying. I do appreciate how quickly you are fighting vandalism, but another factor is time. I concur with UpstateNYer and reiterate what I said earlier. Please do a couple more weeks of fighting vandalism and exploring the other aspects of Wikipedia then please reapply in mid-January so that we have the record of a longer timespan on which to evaluate you. Have a happy new year, Valley2city 03:10, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:WFCforLife

I normally use twinkle to revert vandalism, but this is often not an option as I spend much of my time editing with a computer that only has Internet Explorer. I watchlist BLPs of footballers and increasingly politicians, groups which are likely to be the target of vandalism, and in the latter case a group where unchecked vandalism could be especially harmful. WFCforLife (talk) 06:59, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done - please remember to only use rollback on clear cases of vandalism, and to use appropriate user warning templates. Skier Dude (talk) 07:13, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, will do. WFCforLife (talk) 07:30, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mohammad adil

I have a long list of the articles that i watch for vandalism, having rollback rights will definitely gonna help me. I am almost done with making new articles (at least for the time being) and looking forward to work as an anti vandalism guy !. Regards الله أكبرMohammad Adil 19:47, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done - please remember to only use rollback on clear cases of vandalism, and to use appropriate user warning templates. Cheers and good luck, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 19:57, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:Petiatil

I have been an active reader and editor for many years now, consistently using the 'undo' button to revert numerous vandalisms I find in the main namespace, however I believe it would be considerably easier if I were granted permission to use the rollback feature. Petiatil (talk) 08:59, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Sorry, but I'm afraid you're just not actively editing enough. You have made fewer than 60 edits within the last year and in this time, only made about 3 reverts. I'm afraid this isn't enough to determine whether you will be able to use the tool effectively. If you would like the tool, I'd recommend editing more actively over the next few weeks and making about 25-30 reverts before coming back. -FASTILY (TALK) 10:10, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:MWOAP

I requested rollback rights a while back, but was not granted becuase of the number of edits. I have been working with vandalism for a while now and would like to try it through huggle. This makes it easier for me to clear up vandalism that has been done over multiple edits, which I see often. MWOAP (talk) 00:22, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have been reverting bad edits (vandalism) and I think that roll back is easier to use. I read the article for it --My Total Drama Totaldramaman 21:54, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Not actually seeing a many vandalism reverts in the past few months - most, if not all, of the stuff you've reverted hasn't really been vandalism. There's a difference between good-faith edits you may disagree with, and deliberate vandalism. Try reverting some true vandals for a bit, and definitely use edit summaries, and then see where we're at. ~ Amory (utc) 23:22, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:Sharabura

I have been reverting vandalism for a while now and was hoping to do it more efficiently using Huggle. Sharabura (talk) 03:26, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Good work thus far, but I'm not really comfortable granting the right when you only have 107-ish edits. Please keep at it and come back in a couple weeks or so. Best, –Juliancolton | Talk 03:33, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I want to move on to Huggle, MWT is extremely slow and manually undoing edits makes my fingers hurt. I think I've demonstrated that I know what vandalism is (by my recent reverts). Live.love.laugh.dream (talk) 11:56, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Sorry but 22 edits are not enough to determine whether you know enough (and you only registered yesterday). Please come back after a few more weeks of anti-vandalism work and more edits. Regards SoWhy 12:01, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:RubiksMaster110

I am a rollbacker on Spanish and Simple English in Wikipedia, and I have made about 7.000 edits in both Wikipedias. I want to have the rollback feature so I can use Huggle, since I can`t do a lot of reverting because I use slower methods like Twinkle. I use Huggle in both of those Wikipedias. Thank you. Ricardo P. (talk) 03:34, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted to note that SimpleWP rollback doesn't mean much since it was granted per your eswp rollback. And you have 19 edits and not 7k on SimpleWP; though you do have nearly 7k on es. Pmlineditor  08:34, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Per Pmlinediter. You're doing some great work reverting vandalism but it'd be great if you could get some more experience doing that on the English Wikipedia. The thing is, you're not very active around here and it doesn't seem like you really have much of a use for the tool. If you start editing here more actively, please come back and request the tool again. -FASTILY (TALK) 08:38, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Rollback is for simplified vandalism reversion, and you don't need it to make edits. If the page is semi-protected, just use {{editsemiprotected}} on the talk page to get someone's attention before you are autoconfirmed. ~ Amory (utc) 00:50, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm back again after a day of reverting, I know it hasn't been long, but I feel I've done quite a bit to help. And as much as I love MWT, huggle seems so much better.. Thanks. Samuel Tarling (talk) 18:50, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I actually would like to have my rollback permission removed. I've used it by accident probably 3-4 times, and as I'm not that active an editor anymore, me using it accidentally is doing more harm than good. Matt (talk) 19:07, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dustin Hazelett vs Paul Daley is now confirmed on ufc.com so need this updated Chris354724 (talk) 19:44, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not done You only have two edits including the one to this page. Malinaccier (talk) 19:47, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, you don't need the rollback tool to update information in an article. Try just editing the article(s) to add the necessary info, and it should work fine. Regards, JamieS93 19:51, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
