Deputy Prime Minister double numbering
He was the 2nd DPM, not the 2nd and 6th. We don't use US Presidential numbering for office-holders in Australia, which is why Prime Ministers who had more than one term separated by a period out of office are given one number only. There's no reason why the practice would differ for Deputy Prime Ministers. I've also raised this issue @ Talk:Deputy Prime Minister of Australia. -- JackofOz (talk) 14:21, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Prodding a Deputy PM... that comes close to one of the most bizarre things i've ever seen on wikipedia. It will not happen. Timeshift (talk) 10:04, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
- Good God. The article may be unsourced, but that's a bit much. Frickeg (talk) 10:41, 20 January 2010 (UTC)

- I've added two sources (while I put in four three are from the same site on the ABC) which should keep the Prod at bay! Bidgee (talk) 12:14, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Popular culture
It seems reasonable that, if there is to be a popular culture section then the following text be included:
The band TISM referenced him in a song titled "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The House Of Representatives", from the re-release of their EP Beasts of Suburban. The lyrics were:
Questions without notice
Are burning in my soul -
A double dissolution
Leaves no time for rock 'n' roll.
"I'm a country member!"
Doug Anthony did yell.
Yeah mate, we remember -
Ring the bells! Ring the bells!

- This is notable TISM won an Aria award. They are not just some small band. Check your sources. This is not 'commercial' something that I was accused of. If you do not want a popular culture section then it should be removed, otherwise this text should remain. Mjspe1 (talk) 03:26, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
