Deletion of Crest placeholder on St Hugh's College webpage

Hi,

My name is Simon Wedge, I am the webmaster for St Hugh's College, I have recently signed up to Wikipedia (under the username Shugit) in the hopes of uploading a new SVG crest image which is currently missing from the College page.

I have previously edited the webpage under the IP address 129.67.36.36.

My account is not yet verified so I cannot upload the image at the moment. Can either you upload the SVG image, which can be found here- St Hugh's SVG Crest File [1] or can you verify my account so I can do it myself.

Many Thanks,

Simon Wedge Shugit (talk) 14:25, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Template:Lang-bn

Hi, Mr Simon Wedge,

I think, you set this template small. If it's true, Please, undo your 'edit' from Template:Lang-bn for larger font size. It needs magnifying glass to read!

Thanks.

Sorry! my mistake.

Michael Jackson Page vandalism

Hello Hut 8.5, How are you doing?you got a cool name by the way. This editor by the name of Pyrrhus16 keeps changing the lead paragraphs of the Michael Jackson page. This age has been structured one way for the longest time. I also believe that he is sock sock puppetry by writing from an ip address besides using his wiki name. Other editors have spoken to him about yet he still does this. I just noticed that you're taking a break to study Good luck with exams. ill also write one more admin in the mean time.Knighttrain (talk) 16:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Malamanteaux

There is no mention of "malamanteaux" in the original comic, nor in any of the reliable sources that reference that comic. There is simply no reason for this redirect to exist. Please do not recreate it.  Grue  18:14, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

It was probably added midway through the discussion by some anon and nobody noticed it. Because there's no way it should be a redirect. Therefore I'm applying WP:IAR here until someone can provide me a single instance of "malamanteaux" being used in a "reliable source".  Grue  18:23, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
Redirects have to make sense. This one doesn't. No one would actually search for "malamanteaux" on Wikipedia, because this supposed plural version of the word wasn't mentioned by xkcd. If anything, it should redirect to MetaFilter, because that's where it was used first (way before xkcd). But then, it was just a random comment, and we don't create a redirect for each random comment on some random website.  Grue  19:12, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Nomination of Malamanteaux for RfD

In order to resolve the debate here before the wheel war fully takes off, I have listed it here: [[2]]. Your input would be welcome, I have provided a summary of what seems to be going on in the scenario from my third-party view, but may be missing important context, thus I would be glad for you to give a statement clarifying reasons for deleting/keeping. Regards, --Taelus (Talk) 19:31, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Apologies

I'm going to recuse myself from any further conversation on the Bullshido topic. The "stalker" issue, on top of a nasty AfD (that I think I already had erred in tone on), has apparently left me a bit unhinged! I'm not used to Wiki-editing being a potentially scary experience. Anyway, this is just a response to what you just posted on DRV. Consider it acknowledged and agreed with, and my own little bit of unfortunate flame-fanning there apologized for. ɠǀɳ̩ςεΝɡbomb 20:53, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

I disagree with your reason for having deleted the page about lemondawg productions. if you could please explain your reason more clearly and pinpoint where in the article i made my mistake i would be glad to fix it. The BLP Barnstar
I saw what you did to the Allan Louisy article, and I wanted to give you this, as it was the first time I have ever seen someone remove the BLP unsourced tag, and then source everything in the article. It may be a small article at the moment, but they all matter! Canadian Paul 18:54, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
