Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Brkenmirrr RECORDS has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.myspace.com/brkenmirrrrecords (matching the regex rule \bmyspace\.com).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:23, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on O-Ren-Ishi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.    Thorncrag   03:15, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you.

The article O-Ren-Ishi has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:24, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you deleting this?

In order for a band to be notable on Wikipedia, it has to be one or more of the criterion listed at WP:MUSIC. Your article met none of the requirements, and I deleted it. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:29, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, I see that now. But, " Important note: Failing to satisfy the notability guidelines is not a criterion for speedy deletion "... I was in the process of looking for news articles about the band. I'll re-create it when I have better sources. Thank you.

This does meet the criteria... I have two external links showing the bands notability.

PLEASE STOP DELETING MY PAGES!

Nomination of Dinotrax for deletion

I need ONE admin to talk to me about the pages I have and will create. I cannot take on 5+ different people talking to me.

Responses

Ok we are jumping around way, way too much. For any of these created articles I've tagged, please respond here.
Well if they were important/notable enough they would be covered in several reliable places. Wikipedia is not a place for every band or everything in existence. That's why there are notability guidelines like WP:BAND that every article must meet, or be subject to deletion. CTJF83 chat 05:32, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My concern is that Wikipedia is and can be used for a resource. If a band doesn't have as many articles/pages across the internet about them, they they receive less promotion. Believe it or not, a Wiki whether used for promotion or for straight facts, IS in itself a form of promotion. It describes the band/business, etc... Sometimes bands do not display their own biographies or histories enough or correctly in order to gain more notoriety. These bands are notable, and the label they're on is as well, it just needs time to flower, it's already sprouted. All they need is water, and with all this deletion going on it's like someone is kinking the hose.
