Brazil–Palestine relations refers to the current and historical bilateral relationship between Brazil and Palestine.
On 5 December 2010, Brazil formally recognized the State of Palestine in the 1967 borders, including all of the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem. It did so after a personal request made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.[1]
In March 2010, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva visited Israel and the Palestinian Territories, which was the first time a Brazilian President had done so.[2]
