Mongala Province is one of the twenty-five provinces which form the Democratic Republic of Congo.

From 1963–1966, it was a province known as Moyen-Congo, but it was reintegrated into Équateur province under Mobutu; it was only re-recognized as a province after the approvement of the 2006 Constitution, along with fourteen other provinces which were then approved.

It is located at the northwest of the country on the Congo river, and borders Tshopo, Bas-Uele, Nord-Ubangi, Sud-Ubangi, Équateur and Tshuapa.

The capital of Mongala is the town of Lisala.
