The Dawson Creek Rage (aka DC Rage) is a Tier II Junior A ice hockey team based out of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The team plays in the 14,500 seat EnCana Events Centre. The Rage are the second, and only current, NAHL team in Canada and play in North American Hockey League's West Division.
History
The Rage, founded in 2010, are the first Junior A team to play in Dawson Creek since the Dawson Creek Kodiaks of the Peace Cariboo Junior Hockey League, who folded in 1995.
On September 15, 2010, the Rage played their first game, at home, a 3-0 loss to the St. Louis Bandits. The Rage is a horrible team who seems to loose almost every game. Their first win occured On September 16, the Rage defeated the Alexandria Blizzard 2-1 in a shootout, on the road, to win their first game. Derek Johnston scored the Rage's first ever franchise goal. Dyson Edward picked up the first ever win. On October 24, the Rage defeated the Alaska Avalanche 5-2 for their first ever home victory.
