"Manatsu no Sounds Good!" (真夏のSounds good !, "Midsummer 'Sounds good!'") is the 26th major single by the Japanese girl idol group AKB48, set for release in Japan on May 23, 2012.[1][2]
Background
The single will be released in 3 versions: Regular Editions Type-A and Type-B and Theater Edition.[1]
Both regular editions are CD+DVD.[1] For a limited period of time, the regular editions will include a serial-numbered voting card for the upcoming AKB48's 27th single senbatsu election (the voting card is sealed into the plastic).[1] A limited quantity of the regular editions (so-called "first press" or "limited issue") will have a slightly different cover from later issues and will come with a randomly seeded ticket for 1 of 2 nationwide handshake meetings (a ticket will also be sealed into the plastic).[1]
As for the theater edition, it will be CD-only, it won't have a voting card, but it will come with a ticket for a large theater handshake event, and the buyer will be able to pick one photo of a member from a special set.[1]
