Disney XD is a Malaysian cable and satellite television channel owned by Disney Channel Network Asia that mostly airs children's animated television series.[1]

Production

An announcement was made at a press conference on February 2, 2012 that Disney XD Malaysia will be launched on 15 September 2012 by Astro (Malaysian satellite television) Network and will be the first International Kid channel in Malaysia airing under two separate channels Channel 617 which will be aired in SD picture format and Channel 637 for HD format four audio channels; English, Malaysia, Mandarin Chinese and Tamil. The preview has been aired under the title XD Zone on Disney Channel Malaysia on August 31 and September 1, 2012. [2]

The Philippines on the other hand is also launched on SkyCable on the same channel launch date with Malaysia feed, excluding commercial gap exclusive for the Philippine only.
