- Based on experiences with a similar review system in the German WP and the daily amount of vandalism occuring in articles on my watchlist and elsewhere I think pending changes will help alot to make unconstructive edits less visible, thereby improving WP's user experience and reputation, while keeping the impact/overhead as small as possible. As an experienced editor, rollbacker and participant in community projects to remove copyvios, review permissions will certainly become useful when the system goes live. - Hi there. I'm a relatively new user (17 days since my first edit), but I've already amassed just shy of 2,000 edits (discounting those to my own user page and subpages), many of them on RCP or NPP. I've had the rollback right for five days now, although it feels like a lot longer, from all the editing I've been doing in that time. As a frequent participant in AfDs, I am well-read on content policies, and with 22 ANV reports filed and 184 speedy deletion nominations logged, I am highly familiar with legal and vandalism policies. I'd use this right to be a more efficient RCP'er, and to help separate good-faith edits from bad-faith ones on pages with brewing content disputes or edit wars. I always support the principle that "anyone can edit," and even sometimes fight against protecting pages when it seems unwarranted; pending changes seems, in that spirit, like a wonderful innovation that I'd love to be able to be a part of. — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 19:03, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
- Not done Your enthusiasm is to be commended, and I'd encourage you to apply again in the future, but you really need some more experience under your belt before getting reviewer. —Tom Morris (talk) 17:17, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Understood. Any advice on what would be the best goals to set for myself as indicators of it being an appropriate time to reapply? (Btw, I'm also an LGBT Wikipedian named Tom. High five!) — Francophonie&Androphilie (Je vous invite à me parler) 22:16, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
- Awesome. Just the usual stuff: work on articles, keep an eye out for vandalism, help fight the WP:BACKLOG, participate in articles for deletion, get involved in sorting out BLP violations, whatever takes your fancy. Give it a few weeks and there shouldn't be any issue. —Tom Morris (talk) 02:06, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

- After three years of editing, and several FACs and FAC reviews, I think I have earned this honour. Thanks. ~ GabeMc (talk|contribs) 00:54, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

- Numerous contributions to talk pages requesting corrections for vandalism; I wish that I could take more action on my own, although I do not desire administrator privileges. I feel that Wikipedia would benefit from my reviews, though they would not be particularly numerous - just enough to make it worth the Wikipedia administrators' time to give me the permission and to allow me to take my first more active role in the Wikipedia community. Thank you for your review. What further experience do you recommend, in particular (honest question)? I mainly contribute discussion rather than edits, and being a reviewer would allow me to enhance this. I have been a member for quite some time. Cheers! - Not done - I'm sorry, but you don't have enough experience yet as you only have 55 edits. Keep editing and reapply at a later time. Best, Mifter (talk) 00:23, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

- I've been active in CVU work, editing for a year now, with rollback rights. I'd like to extend my CVU work with reviewer rights, so I may review revisions. Plasma (Talk) 00:41, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
