Eurycratides (Ancient Greek: Εὐρυκρατίδης, "wide ruler") was the thirteenth king of Sparta from the Agiad dynasty.[2] He succeeded his father Anaxander[3] around 615 BC and reigned during a devastating period of war with Tegea.[4][5]

In 590 BC Eurycratides was succeeded by his son Leon ("lion").[6] His grandson was King Anaxandridas II.
