Complaints

I have a litany of abuses and complaints and grievances. I would like help in addressing them. They are about talk page use, ANI, editor attacks, wiki stalking. I would like for someone to answer them. I know their is wiki adoption, perhaps that is what Im looking for. But I dont know if that is done unless I create an account. Thank You. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 08:57, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Don't remove the shared IP banner. It stays. As for being adopted, yes, you'd need an account, but you'd also need a lot more clue. You've been edit warring on BLPs which is total no-no, and some of the people you harassed were admins, not good either. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 09:24, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I need a clue? You are rude so go away. What I need is an admin who is not rude as you are and knows WTF they are talking about. That is not you so please leave my page. Post where it says you have control over my page. Each user is in charge of their own talk page on here. Hence I may keep it as I see fit. That included removing posts, editing posts, blanking the page, and more. I am not posting threats or defaming anyone, these are things which must be swiftly addressed. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 09:28, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Since you don't have an account, you don't have a talkpage. Let's make this short: Would you like to be blocked again? Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 09:30, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Seb please stop writing to me. I am waiting for a reply to my request. My questions including this recent interaction with you will be asked about. As you are watching my page watch/wait for the admin response. Until then please stop okay. You are doing this on purpose. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 09:35, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ANI notification

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#.E2.80.8E71.191.244.33 regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. —Cavarrone (talk) 12:03, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You for the notice. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:11, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Shared IP notice

Please stop your edit warring, especially on the topic of shared IP headers on talk pages, which are to remain per WP:BLANKING. This is your final warning.—Bagumba (talk) 14:59, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop all communication with me. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:19, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ban time! SHZ and don't forget to sign my guestbook!!! 16:21, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ban for what. The only edits I have made are to kenny anderson's talk page; as well as the Brook Lee page. I sourced the Brook Lee information. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:28, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For removing the shared ip thing. SHZ and don't forget to sign my guestbook!!! 16:31, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. These two edits [1][2] to remove the shared IP notice is a continuation to ignore WP:BLANKING and flat out edit warring. However, since you have (consciously?) left this latest reinsertion and are actively seeking help below at #help_request, I am going way above and beyond and assuming you will stop warring and operate according to consensus going forward.—Bagumba (talk) 19:40, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

help request

I have a litany of abuses and complaints and grievances. I would like help in addressing them. They are about talk page use, ANI, editor attacks, wiki stalking. I was told wiki adoption is only for registered users, is that true? If so I still have questions about procedures. Thank Youu. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:30, 28 April 2013 (UTC)}}[reply]

  • Adoption is generally considered mainly for users, but there is nothing that prevents IPs from being adopted. I think, however, its always better to have an account before being adopted.
Yes, we are ready to listen to any abuses and complaints you have. You may also want to join the IRC channel for a real time chat. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 16:39, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

soni, adoption is just one question I have. I have alot of questions. So you will be my helper> 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:54, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You should not remove the {{shared IP}} template from a shared IP's talk page, not even your own. You've been told so repeatedly; removing it immediately after your block expires won't help. Huon (talk) 16:43, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Huon, why not? I am not alright with it being there. I am being wikistalked. I read the blanking page and it says I amm allowed to edit my talk page and remove things. So that is what I did. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:54, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As that message says, this is not your personal talk page. Your IP might be re-assigned to someone else who might then wonder about all the messages not meant for them. Thus we need the Shared IP message. I suggest you choose a username and create an account; then that username's talk page will indeed be your own (within the restrictions of our talk page guidelines), and you can remove all messages you dislike (excepting messages about editing restrictions such as blocks while they're active; and even for registered users archiving is preferred to outright deletion).
Regarding your questions, it may indeed be easiest to get live answers at the IRC help channel #wikipedia-en-help connect; otherwise you can ask them right here. Huon (talk) 17:17, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is my IP. It wont be reassigned unless I disconnect the inet connection. If I use IRC will there be a record of it so I can refer back to what I am told ? 71.191.244.33 (talk) 17:49, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Soni. But will I be able to refer back to quote IRC? Thank You.17:49, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure about whether the IRC webclient keeps a log; I rather doubt it. Even if it did, logs of the IRC help channel should not be published without the consent of all involved parties. If you prefer to have your replies in writing so you can refer to them, you'll have to ask your questions here. Huon (talk) 19:10, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just ask your questions. Ask here, and we might take some time. Click the connect button on this -#wikipedia-en-help connect and you'll get it faster, and in a chat format. TheOriginalSoni (talk) 19:29, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

saying I need to engage in talk page discussions

Dreadstar, you did? So you saw this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Kenny_Anderson_%28basketball%29#many_children_from_many_women
Isnt that engagaging in talk page discussion ? 71.191.244.33 (talk) 08:51, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but you continued to edit war after that very short discussion; engaging in talk page discussion does not negate edit warring, which is why I said "instead talk things over on the article's talk pages and do not continue attempting to edit war your preferred version into place", bolding added. I commend you on engaging in talk page discussions, but you need to refrain completely from edit warring. Do not be discouraged if your view does not find Consensus, accept it and move on. adding YT vid of Ahmad Rashad's proposal to Phylicia Rashad page

When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Phylicia Rashād, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. The video is on obvious over-the-air recording of copyrighted material not released by the network.Bagumba (talk) 19:41, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

How come music vids are allowed to be linked but not that proposal? If the NFL let the vid stay on YT doesnt that mean it allowed/granted the copyright ? 71.191.244.33 (talk) 22:47, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

I've blocked your account for 30 days for continuing to add material that violates the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy. Dreadstar 20:02, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Even if BLP is disputed, it is continued edit warring at the very least.—Bagumba (talk) 20:07, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Soni, look. Ive been blocked, For what? What edit war? 71.191.244.33 (talk) 22:01, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just checked. I added back edit conversations between zagalejo and I going back to end of march to the Kenny anderson TALK PAGE NOT THE ARTICLE. I added it once

(cur | prev) 09:31, 28 April 2013‎ 71.191.244.33 (talk)‎ . . (11,764 bytes) (+6,112)‎ . . (edit summary removed)

User_talk:Dreadstar blocked for blp violating after User_talk:Seb_az86556 [personal attack removed] saying I added it 3x. I added it ONCE. Look at the dates. Today is 28 april. I made ONE edit to kenny anderson talk page today. Asshacks sebu/User_talk:Bagumba are saying Im edit warring but Im not.
Do you see why I feel I am being attacked. I DID READ all that was written to me even from the stalkers zagaljo, bagumba, and the rest. I added it NOT TO ARTICLE but TO TALK PAGE so I could refer back to the zagalejo & mine 's edits for when I ask about that page!
This is ridiculous! How can you refer to info that is not there? That is why I added to to the TALK(discussion) page.& now they have completely deleted it from history.
So that is allowed but I can delete ip from my page? bullsh!t. 22:39, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, cursing won't help; insulting other editors even less so. See WP:No personal attacks Secondly, WP:BLP applies to all Wikipedia content including talk pages; whatever you added was apparently bad enough to be subject to revision deletion. I can't read it myself, but in short, badly-sourced content about living persons that may be contentious is not acceptable anywhere, article, talk page, whatever. See WP:BLPTALK. Thirdly you added that stuff not once, but twice - you re-added it after Seb az86556 removed it. Yes, that's edit warring. Even worse, that's edit warring to include possible BLP violations after you have been warned about that. Huon (talk) 01:07, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Please stop attacking other editors. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Talkpage access can be removed for further violations. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 23:19, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the IP's talk page access for the duration of the block. Dreadstar 06:54, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked temporarily from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you have a registered Wikipedia username, you may log in and continue to edit. Otherwise, once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. Your ability to edit your talk page has also been revoked. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.

dear soni

Soni, are you still willing to help me? 71.191.244.33 (talk) 22:28, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. But with what? Also, I prefer dealing on the IRC as its easier to chat.
Also, you can simply use my name (User:TheOriginalSoni) and I'll check the message.
TheOriginalSoni (talk) 22:58, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just left you a message on your talk page but you are already here. You're fast! Thanks. I need help with navigating wikipedia. I feel that an edit I made wasnt liked, then that editor got his/her friends to bombard me. I of course lashed out. They blocked me, and got to have their edits(bs edits and bias edits) stand. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 23:03, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, people ten to think that way around here. :)
Did you try checking why that edit wasnt liked here? Maybe they were actually correct??
Whatever you do, NEVER lash out. Especially when you are commenting on people, not content.
Anything else? :)

Hello, I'm Yintan. I noticed that you made a change to an article, T. J. Holmes, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.  Yinta 13:24, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

bwilkins said WP BLP but hasnt indicated on what bio. What copyright was violated? If you read the interaction between kww and myself you will see that I replied to a rude comment, but nevertheless is using asshole is wrong then I am in the wrong. I cant make ammends since I am blocked. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 12:40, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was blocked for WP:COPYRIGHT, WP:NPA and WP:BLP violations. What/where are these violations ? I know I called kww a rude asshole. I retorted to their rudeness to me. In order to apologise I need to be able to edit. I dont know about the other 2 charges, WP:COPYRIGHT, and WP:BLP. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 12:28, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'll make amends to kww. I dont know what copyright was violated. Let me know and I'll adjust my edit. your reason here 71.191.244.33 (talk) 09:49, 24 July 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline: you may only have one unblock request open at a time. HINT: Considering that dozens of admins have viewed this page, it's pretty apparent the above request is not WP:GAB-compliant. You may want to amend it, come clean, and follow WP:AAB (✉→BWilkins←✎) 18:31, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

bwilkins: What is procedural decline ? I ask specific questions about copyright violations and you dance around and dont answer the question. How do you know that "dozens of admins have view the page and the rrequest is not GAB compliant "? If you are a friend of kww-which i suspect-- then you arent a neutral admin and you need to recuse yourself. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 10:28, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Procedural decline" is exactly what I said: since you may only have 1 open unblock request at a time, I "procedurally-decline" your second one, leaving the first one open for other admins to review. For some reason you closed it yourself, and I have re-opened it - or else nobody will review it once closed (✉→BWilkins←✎) 14:12, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I closed the request thinking you forgot to. No one else has review it. Only you come. It was here for days with no answer. If you or someone else had seen it they could have least let me know. I wrote a followup which you did not answer. I thought there was a backlog of some sorts. Anyways, I have been reading a few things and am about to post my answer. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:13, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As I said, I can guarantee that dozens of admins have looked at it ... but since you are not WP:GAB-compliant, nobody will accept it ... if you don't fix it as per my suggestions, then it will likely be declined (✉→BWilkins←✎) 14:13, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How can you make this guarantee? And if not gab compliant why did no one say so? A simple 'I've seen your request and am not acting' from any or all who read my request. I asked you about the COPYRGHT and BLP; you keep focusing on NPA. But you cited 3 reasons , but only focus on 1. I dont get it. 71.191.244.33 (talk) 16:42, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
