New Wave music
Hello! just a question, I'm a bit confused about the fact that why all the "new wave" music in the genres section of the artists page are capitalized and the other genres not? GlitterDream (talk) 07:58, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
FAC Aaliyah (album)
Hi. Would you be interested in commenting at my FAC for Aaliyah (album)? Any support or critical comments would be appreciated. If not, no need to reply. Dan56 (talk) 06:45, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- There's an FAQ about it, and at WP:FAC, there's a section right below the top of the page about "Supporting and opposing". It's pretty much like a good article review, just with a higher criteria. Dan56 (talk) 19:45, 1 February 2013 (UTC)

Template discussion
Hi. I'm making a request to remove the subjective label aspect from the album ratings template page ("favorable"/"mixed", etc.), with a "support" or "against" kind of vote. If you're interested in this, you can weigh in at the template talk page. Dan56 (talk) 03:52, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi SnapSnap. How are you? Can you please look throughout the article and give your opinion on the FAC. Thank you ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 14:13, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your feedback. I revisited your comments and resolved them/added answers. You might check them again. Cheers! :) — Tomíca(T2ME) 23:38, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Might be of a crucial meaning if you state that you are satisfied with it on the FAC, because probably FAC directors will still find things unresolved I guess :P ! — Tomíca(T2ME) 16:45, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
Chartbot review
The bot to repair the Billboard site revision catastrophe has undergone its initial test run (see Special:Contributions/Chartbot). I uncovered a few small bugs in the initial edits, but any that I didn't revert are, to the best of my knowledge, good. If you have any issues with it, Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/Chartbot is the place to bring them up.—Kww(talk) 19:51, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
Gwen Stefani's page
There's NO facts about Gwen Stefani being diagnosed with ADHD at school. The only thing that has been brought up was her dyslexia. ADHD is some made up stuff. Just google it, and you won't find anything about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Non-cynical (talk • contribs) 19:30, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Revert of my edit
Can you please tell me why you reverted this edit? It just replaces normal links by the given singlechart templates, making the article structure more comprehensible and easier to edit. Is there a reason why these templates should not be used? Or did I make something wrong? --Ali1610 (talk) 20:40, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- What is it going to take to get you to stop doing this, SnapSnap? I've spent weeks cleaning up hardcoded Billboard links because people refused to use the templates. I had all the singlechart and album calls fixed in February, and it has taken six passes of a bot to clean up the rest. Your insistence on hardcoded links, including unexplained reversion of edits that include templates, is disruptive and harmful. There's no reason to do it, and many, many reasons not to.—Kww(talk) 21:04, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

Charts & certification
No, nothing at WP:ALBUMS/STYLE indicates that charts and certifications should have their own separate sections in an article. The real issue is a matter of opinion, which one is better. I'd prefer having the tables next to each other, it's easier to look at the information that is so much related to each other, at one glance, and it saves a lot of scrolling. But I'm not going to start an edit war about this, just wanted to make a point that the reason for your reverts is not valid. ;) --Sk4170 (talk) 00:34, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
You wrote: "WP:ALBUMS/STYLE might not explicitly state it, but it does show charts and certifications as having their own separate sections." I expected you to say that ;). I wouldn't interpret the manner in which the style guide lists its items and their explanations as a guideline itself. It doesn't make sense, really, and shouldn't be used as an argument. What comes to the initial edit where you started your reverts, the certification table wasn't 'added under charts' but clearly placed to the right, with its own header. There was a little mistake in the edit, the one that I fixed in my edit, but the intention was clear. What remains is a matter of preference. --Sk4170 (talk) 00:26, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
The MOS page you cited noted that certain words should be capitalized, but that does not mean they should always be capitalized. The issue I see here is that Fox did not wrote that word capitalized, and I don't see the need in deviating from the way they intended it to be. We're not dealing with a major grammatical issue.Davejohnsan (talk) 18:08, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
Hey SnapSnap! How are you? I hope you are doing well. I want to thank you again for the comments on the "Cry Me a River" FAC :). Anyway, I worked on Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded and nominated it for FA. Do you have time to give your feedback here? Thank You! — Tomíca(T2ME) 21:48, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

Random Access Memories
Regarding your recent edits to the article, please keep in mind that splitting off "Charts" and "Certifications" to separate sections creates an excessive amount of main headings, which makes the table of contents difficult to navigate. Please avoid making multiple article sections about the same topic. Feel free to visit Talk:Random Access Memories or contact me if you have any concerns. jhsounds (talk) 16:21, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

'Burn'
Hi SnapSnap,
Just wondered why you reverted my edit to the Ellie Golding Discography. 'Burn' has been certified as a UK no.1 as of today. Thanking you in anticipation, --Jonie148 (talk) 18:59, 11 August 2013 (UTC)
- Apologies, I think I was listening to the Vodafone big UK top 40. *facepalm*. Thanks for being observant enough to notice my mistake --Jonie148 (talk) 09:31, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
I couldn't help but notice the unreleased Ellie Goulding tracks were deleted from her discography page. Do you have a reason why? --Idensai (talk) 23:58, 14 August 2013 (UTC)
Hey SnapSnap! Can you go through the article when you have time? It's not long one, so I guess it won't be a big deal. :) Cheers! — Tomíca(T2ME) 12:18, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Halcyon Days
Hi, SnapSnap. can i ask why halcyon days isn't an album by Ellie Goulding? because its in the charts and there is no denying that. and it isn't an EP.
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.147.165.10 (talk) 22:58, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
Using more than one image of same albums or singles
The matter is discussed at WT:NFC and WP:NFCR. As for File:Toni Braxton - Breathe Again - Spain.jpg and File:Toni Braxton - Another Sad Love Song UK (1994).jpg, I think they must go because Toni Braxton is an American, so the American covers must be kept. I recently learned that one image is enough, especially if images have essentially similar info, despite different perspectives and all that. --George Ho (talk) 19:07, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

Burn
Hi! I was wondering why you deleted the section regarding Burn's US release to radio on October 1st? Other Ellie articles have that information in the release history! Thanks! TDI19 (talk) 19:09, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

RE: Ellie Goulding discography
Hi! I often check through the references in the "Burn" chart positions table to see if there are any new peaks! For that Croatian chart, I used the same link that was referenced in the article: http://radio.hrt.hr/drugi-program/clanak/airplay-radio-chart-2-rujna-2013/10534/.
For the new How Long Will I Love You peak, I found this website: http://www.__mix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22432&start=2725 and the new peak is listed in the last post on that page, titled W/e 21st September 2013. Put a "uk" where the underscore in that link is.
Also, I had left a message in the discussion page for Ellie's discography, and it would be great if you put in two cents! Thanks! TDI19 (talk) 02:11, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
Poker Face
How is File:Lady Gaga - Poker Face.png "better quality" than File:Poker Face Lady Gaga.jpg? The jpg also has a reliable source (official website) for its origin, as opposed to the png (Gagapedia). Cheers, Adabow (talk) 21:59, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply! That makes sense; could you please provide a better source for the image though? Gagapedia isn't the best place to verify the legitimacy of a single cover - such wikis often upload fan art as a guise of the real deal. Adabow (talk) 23:06, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

We're three Cornell students working on the Aaron Paul article. We've noticed you've been active on the article lately. Would you mind reviewing our edits and serving as a mentor?

Alison Brie
Hey, sorry about the unneccessary changes I made to Alison Brie's intro paragraph; I didn't realise there was a set of rules about this type of thing. Thanks for providing the link to the rules. I have a question; in the case of the article Aaron Paul, what happens in relation to the whole name thing? I can't find anything about him legally dropping his name while using his stage name, but he now has a new middle name that isn't present in any of his work...? This one's been bugging me for a while, and you seem like the person to ask. -- MisterMorton (talk) 20:04, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Hey Snap! How are you? Do you have some spare time to view and check the article and give some comments at the FAC? I would be grateful. Cheers! — Tomíca(T2ME) 14:38, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
