Not done: as you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - Arjayay (talk) 13:46, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute for changing "heavy metal" to "metal" in article lead

My position on this is as follows: the article's lead was Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa when it was reviewed and accepted as a good article. Also, the statement adheres to the WP:Lead rules therefore I do not see any reason as to why it should be changed to Slipknot is an American metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Kevon100 Talk! Timeline on Slipknot article

There has been constant adding of the band members' timeline to the Slipknot band article which I disagree of. There is a featured article specifically devoted to the members of Slipknot which includes a timeline. Therefore I find it unnecessary to have said timeline on the band page itself. The band page has a members listing both current and former which suffices for providing information on such. Kevon100 Talk! Mail 00:27, 29 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
