Hi Matt 20123! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.

Your block!

Hi Matt. I've increased your block to indefinite given that you've again deleted the blocking notice from your talk page without acknowledging the issue. I fear you would continue your disruption on getting unblocked. Therefore, I'm letting this block remain indefinitely until you let me know here that you understand the issue and would not be editing disruptively again. Thanks. Wifione Message 03:13, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was engaged in an "Edit war".

Decline reason:

This is not an adequate summary of the problems that led to your block. If you do not understand why you were blocked, the problematic behaviour will likely recur. Thus I cannot unblock you. Huon (talk) 00:25, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Your unblock request

Matt, when your unblock request gets rejected by an administrator, you are supposed to post a fresh unblock request rather than attempting to change the wordings of a declined unblock request, as you did here. At the same time, I have seen that after I increased your block to indefinite, you've posted a cumulative acknowledgement of the issue on your talk page (and unfortunately deleted the same in consecutive edits). I see the effort you've taken and am assuming good faith that you will not repeat your edit warring behaviour again. I'm therefore reducing the block and allowing you to edit again. My strong suggestion would be to read up on the following pages before you resume editing:

If you require clarifications at any time, feel free to write to me on my talk page. Take care and do not edit war again. Wifione Message 19:47, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I won't do it again Matt 20123 Message 13:33, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And yet you continue to remove the dmy date template and add multiple redundant film date templates. Why are you doing this? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 12:35, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's because it's the other way around Matt 20123 Message 14:55, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

But they're not. American films have the mdy date format. Why have you done this and this edit since being warned not to? Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 08:51, 7 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And why this for a British film? - SchroCat (talk) 13:08, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh sorry about that Matt 20123 Message 19:05, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ex Machina (film). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. Thank you. Why on earth are you still acting disruptively, while pretending to apologise on your talk page. You are heading to ANI as a disruptive editor unless you change your editing patterns bloody quickly. SchroCat (talk) 17:03, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I was just proving a point Matt 20123 Message 17:05, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Don't. WP:Pointy edits are disruptive and will end up in someone reporting your behaviour. - SchroCat (talk) 17:10, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok but just show me a little respect Matt 20123 Message 22:41, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is inappropriate to add links to free streaming services in the External links section and it is even more inappropriate to add them as the official website. Don't do that. -- 109.76.166.183 (talk) 19:32, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

January 2015 pt II

Please stop removing maintenance tags as you have been doing at several articles including this one. They are there for several reasons and they help to gather info at other spots here at Wikipedia. Further edits of this sort can result in your being blocked again. Your cooperation in this will be appreciated. MarnetteD|Talk 19:43, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MarnetteD - this user keeps doing this! So close to being blocked for good. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 15:28, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The American President, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. MarnetteD|Talk 16:13, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at ...And Justice for All (film). MarnetteD|Talk 16:33, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
