Administrator notation templates

This template is used to answer requests for permissions, especially the rollback user right.

::{{subst:RFPR|option}} ~~~~

The second (unnamed) parameter is optional. It can be omitted or used to specify the admin when marking a request as already done or the number of edits when declining due to inexperience.

 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. With only {{{X}}} edits to the mainspace, I don't think you have sufficient editing experience yet. Take a moment to check out what counter-vandalism is at WP:CVU, and if you decide you'd like to get involved, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|exp|X}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|moreedits|X}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. I see you just also applied for Pending Changes Reviewer. Let's see how you get on with that first and then we'll take another look again when you've made a few more edits. ::{{subst:RFPR|rvw}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|alsorequestedreviewer}} ~~~~
 Not done. Please see the notice at the top of this page. This is not what Rollback is for. Take a moment to read Wikipedia:Rollback and if that's what you would like to do, you can then check out the Counter Vandalism Unit to learn more. ::{{subst:RFPR|nrb}} ~~~~ ::{{subst:RFPR|notrollback}} ~~~~
I want to be a rollback. Jcpag2012 (a.k.a. John Carlo) from Wikipedia 01:40, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Question: Why ? I see no vandal fighting edits in your edit history. Mlpearc (open channel) 01:46, 4 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am a recent changes patroller. I use twinkle as a tool to revert any vandalism or unconstructive edits. If I get rollback, I will use it to revert multiple vandalism edits by the vandalizing user. My goal is to make Wikipedia a better place. I will use the privilege productively. Thanks. Fresh Sullivan (talk) 18:07, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done Being blocked as vandalism-only does not inspire confidence in granting a permission primarily used for fighting vandalism. This was over a year ago but I'm afraid your constructive editing history since then is too brief to say you can be fully trusted with rollback, as it grants access to powerful semi-automated tools. I think you're doing great work as of late, and please keep it up. With due time, perhaps several months, you can regain trust from the community and be better suited for advanced permissions. to fight vandalism from recent changes page as in other wikis. Note:someone who is not an editor or administrator delete my request without explaning or providing any reason. Regards 1339861mzb (talk) 21:37, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done Looks like you have a lot of experience on Arabic wikis, but with the language barrier it's difficult to judge your contributions there. Meanwhile policies do differ wiki to wiki. Please feel free to re-apply when you have a recent editing history here on enwiki that clearly shows an understanding of what constitutes vandalism. The counter-vandalism unit is an excellent place to start if you'd like to get more involved. MusikAnimal talk 00:38, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I was fighting vabdalism here sence a week nearly. I will continue then request it again. regaeds--07:42, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
I've spent much time understanding and fighting vandalism and have gained quite understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines. I've continuously tried to prevent Wikipedia from vandal activities and make it a more informative place. I've prevented vandal activities on multiple pages like Indian School of Mines, Arijit Singh (semi-protected on my request), Tanvi Hegde, Gajendra Verma etc. I'm also a new page patroller and I often encounter such activities while reviewing new pages. I have now more than 800 Edits and believe myself to have a solid understanding of rules and policies, so I wish to have Rollback as user right to revert vandalism faster. Plus, I always keep an eye on Recent Changes page and work very hard to revert vandals. Rollback rights will be extremely helpful for me. Infinite0694 (talk) 10:01, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Comment User previous requests was just declined 4 days ago by Nakon. Armbrust The Homunculus 12:42, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I already use Twinkle on Wikipedia for reverting vandalism and am an anti-vandalism experienced user with over 650 edits, so I'm sure that I became familiar with the anti-vandalism patrol even though I'm still in the early days of the first request. --Infinite0694 (talk) 14:48, 9 April 2015‎ (UTC)[reply]
I'd like the rollback permission on English Wikipedia so that I can use WikiPatroller on my android phone during downtime at work! I'd like to be able to use STiki also. I think wanting to fight vandalism works a lot like wanting to edit wikipedia. At first, you think there's really nothing you can change, because it's all so well researched and thought out. But the more you look into it, the more you edit, the more you realize the entirely of WP is in a constant state of flux, with tons of vandals and misguided editors everywhere. There's always work to be done, it's just hiding, and all you need is the self confidence to assume Wiki articles CAN be wrong to start editing. Anyway, I have x>500 mainspace edits, and I'd like to make more in the arena of preventing vandalism. I've done a fair amount of TW reverting, and that's been rewarding, but I'd like to be able to do it using STiki or AWB or Wiki Patroller. Thanks! --Shibbolethink ( ) 06:11, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
