Current championships
At the top of WWE's championship hierarchy, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is held by one-time champion Seth Rollins, who defeated previous champion Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015, after he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to turn their singles match into an impromptu triple threat match.
There are two secondary titles in WWE, the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the WWE United States Championship.
The Intercontinental Championship is held by one-time champion Daniel Bryan, who won the title at WrestleMania 31 in a seven-man ladder match.
The United States Championship is held by four-time champion John Cena, who defeated Rusev on March 29, 2015, to end his unpinned and unsubmitted streak, at WrestleMania 31.
The WWE Tag Team Championship is held by Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, in their first reign as a team (first for Cesaro and second for Kidd individually). They won the championships by defeating The Usos at Fastlane.
A wrestler who has held all four of these titles is recognized to have won the WWE Grand Slam.[1]
There is one championship that is available for female wrestlers, the WWE Divas Championship. It is held by two-time champion Nikki Bella, who defeated AJ Lee on November 23, 2014 at Survivor Series to win the title.
