Pending changes reviewer

(add requestview requests)

User:Kunalforyou

I have gained Rollback permission on 3 May 2015 and it has been 6 weeks since I'm using it. I believe that if I am given the Pending Changes Reviewer right, I will contribute to the process of reviewing articles placed under pending changes. KunalForYou ☎️📝 15:52, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A few articles with pending changes have appeared on my watchlist recently, and it would be useful to be able to review those. I already spend a fair amount of effort checking recent edits. I have developed a good understanding of all the relevant policies and have read the guideline on reviewing. I've already held both rollback and autopatrolled rights for a long time. I work really hard to write good and vandalism-clear articles, either creating or editing them. So, I thought I should upgrade my status and become a reviewer to make all the article, but especially, Iraq related articles clear from any mistakes. Hashima20 (talk) 21:05, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done - The "Pending Changes Reviewer" user-right doesn't help whatsoever with article creation. ☺ · Salvidrim! ·  21:19, 15 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not done, your edits show that you still do not have enough experience for this user permission. Please take some time to become more experienced with the project and feel free to request again later. Nakon 21:47, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Nakon, one question: What is a border of edits. --Դեմ խմբակային իշխանությանը (talk) 22:01, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have recently contributed to and discussed several contentious articles, and in the process, I have learned a lot about wikipedia policies and culture. I think I have a clear idea of what is and is not appropriate content, and I am confident I can apply that judgment tactfully. For example, I recently removed inappropriate content at Dagga Party and participated in an RfC on Talk:Ludwig_Wittgenstein. I have a reverence for Wikipedia bordering on religiosity, and I will be careful with any Wikipedia privileges I get. Acone (talk) 00:48, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Unfortunately, you only have a handful of recent edits to the article namespace which suggests that you may not have enough experience at this time. As per the guidelines, editors need "enough edits that a track record can be established.". Please take some time to edit more articles and feel free to request again later. I have been Editing Wikipedia since a long time and am now wishing to Upgrade my Status. I already spend a fair amount of effort checking recent edits. I have developed a good understanding of all the relevant wikipedia articles and have read the guideline on reviewing. I have also helped edit many pages, and continuously update them in the Current Situation. With High Hopes and Ambitions I hope to become a Pending Changes Reviewer.  Not done, Wikipedia is not an MMORPG. A user's "status" is not upgraded based on these permissions. Nakon 21:50, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Was granted rollback rights a couple of weeks ago without requesting, based on my apparent helpful contributions in spotting and reverting vandalism. I feel like I have considerable ability to clearly distinguish between helpful contributions and disruptive edits, thus making me feel that I can use the pending changes review access responsibly. • Comment From what I've seen in article deletion discussions, noticeboard discussions, and talk page discussions, I'm not convinced Azealia has the experience , polucy knowledge, and WP:COMMONSENSE needed for this permission. Maybe after more time -- the user has been here barely 6 months. An admin may, however, disagree and see wiki-maturity that I don't. -- WV 02:31, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Winkelvi, could you give some examples? It's just that as far as I can remember, I've never participated in a noticeboard discussion, let alone displayed improper policy knowledge and lack of common sense at one. While the only time we've ever crossed paths in a delete discussion/talk page discussion, as to my immediate knowledge anyway, is a minor dispute on a sentences word structure, in which we interpreted it in two different ways, which had nothing to do with policy, let alone being anything to do with identifying vandalism from good edits... I do remember stupidly voting to delete an article, days after supporting it's upgrade to FL status, during the infamous witch-hunt of MaranoFan. Without being bothered to scroll through my contributions, I'd say those times contributing to the deletion and FL discussions were my first time giving a !vote to either format. However, while this may showcase that I need to brush up on policies regarding deleting articles and FL criteria, I fail to see how this hinders my judgement on identifying and stopping vandalism from reaching protected pages.
