Angry Birds 2 is a 2015 puzzle video game developed by Rovio Entertainment as the twelfth game in the Angry Birds series, and the direct sequel to the original Angry Birds. The gameplay features a new bird named Silver, spells instead of power-ups and occurs in multi-stage levels. It was soft-launched in Canada on March 5, 2015 as Angry Birds Under Pigstruction. [1] and was released for iOS and Android worldwide on July 30, 2015 as Angry Birds 2.[2]
Gameplay
Just as in the original Angry Birds, players use a slingshot to launch birds at nearby structures, but this time they get to choose which bird to shoot, a huge improvement over what the player was required to do in past games (launching birds in a certain order). By allowing the player to choose which order of birds to shoot, the game gives the player more freedom and allows the player to create their own unique strategies.
As usual, the main targets in this game are the pigs, and they can be defeated if directly fired at, or through other strategies. For example, the bird hits a structure where the pig is standing, making it fall. The player loses if there is no card left for popping pigs and also no Continues. Spells are also available as extra cards that be used just like birds and if the bar on the right top side of the screen fills completely you will earn an extra card also you may find golden pig that can instantly give you a card. The spells include raining rubber ducks, summoning blizzards, chilis and more.[3] Some levels include boss fights, that has the player using the environment to defeat the boss, which has a health bar and some levels include waves.
Gifts and cards are randomly located in the levels. Hitting cards will give the player an random extra bird card. Hitting gifts gives the player gems if the level is completed. The game may be connected to Facebook to compete with the player's friends and in the arena.
Episodes
Levels have different amounts of rooms so be careful not to use all your birds, and spells are disabled in boss levels.
