The sixth season of StarStruck will premiere on the September 7, 2015 replacing Reply 1997. After a five-year-long hiatus, GMA Network re-launched the said reality show for its sixth season.[1][2] The age limit is set from 15 years old to 20 years old.[3] Dingdong Dantes will reprise his role as the host for this edition[4][5] After signing an exclusive contract of one year in GMA Network in March 2015, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, who is an alumna from the second season, has been announced as Dantes' co-host for this season.[6][7][8]

Auditions

In the last quarter of 2014, GMA Network announced that the distribution of the application form will be on September 6 and 7 and will be distributed in nationwide through various malls.[3] There was a live coverage of the said event during Startalk on September 6 and at Sunday All Stars on September 7. The said event was called as "StarStruck Weekend". The first 500 registrants in Metro Manila were accommodated on September 7 for the auditions kick off and was shown the previews in Sunday All Stars.
