Vijaygarh Fort

Hi Kartiktiwary. Could you let me know why you removed the merge tags on Vijaygarh Fort and Bijai Garh? These are variant spellings of the same name. Is there some reason that we need to maintain two separate articles? —Psychonaut (talk) 13:04, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Both are not same places.both are different., Vijaygarh Fort is in Sonbhadra Uttar Pradesh while Bijai Garh is inRajasthan.
Thats why they can not be merge.
Do you know. Chandrakanta tv serial??
This []Vijaygarh Fort ]] is related to princess Chandrakanta.
kartiktiwary3 (talk) 17:57, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, interesting that two different forts from the same era have the same name. In the future, though, please don't remove merge templates without explanation. Instead, provide an explanation on the talk page as instructed by the template. —Psychonaut (talk) 07:52, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Sam Sailor. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Siya Ke Ram without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Orphaned non-free image File:Siya Ke Ram.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Siya Ke Ram.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 04:14, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Maryada Purushottam Siya Ke Ram requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. TomStar81 (Talk) 05:41, 20 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without verifying permission. You have been previously warned that this is against policy, but have persisted.

Please take this opportunity to be sure you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  NeilN talk to me 14:45, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note that indefinitely does not mean permanently. To be unblocked you need to convince the reviewing administrator that you understand and are willing to abide by Wikipedia's copyright policies. --NeilN talk to me 14:47, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That time i was new to Wikipedia. I didn't know how to edit articles properly.from my mistake i taught many things about Wikipedia and its edit. I am still improving myself with a good effort.I apologize for ignoring those warnings about policies regarding use of non free content.i didn't read that. But now I have read those policies properly and understand that.i promise you that I will not make those mistakes again and will not violet any policy.so please unblock me.kartiktiwary3 (talk) 01:35, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Marchjuly put it very well, in that you've been given several warnings about this and you even explicitly asked for assistance on avoiding copyright, yet you continued to do this. While we do try to give people the benefit of the doubt, you've been given plenty of chances to rectify your behavior and you've shown a clear disregard for policy. There's no way that you couldn't have been aware that posting WP:COPYVIO (photo, text, or otherwise) was anything other than unacceptable and your rationale here doesn't really give me the impression that you would do any different if you were unblocked. You're essentially just making excuses for your behavior rather than confessing that you knew that you were wrong and did it anyway. That's what bothers me the most about this and this is why I'm going to ask that you take some time away from Wikipedia. The copyvio, paired with edits like this one, seems to suggest that you just aren't really ready to edit Wikipedia in a responsible manner. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 11:01, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am not an administrator, so I cannot unblock you. I do not think claiming "I was new" or "I didn't know how to edit article properly", however, is really going to gain you any sympathy given your editing history. You did same thing on Keith Sequeira regarding using copyrighted content. You specifically asked at Talk:Keith Sequeira#Avoiding copyright violations how to avoid this kind of thing, and an explanation was given as to what is generally considered acceptable both in that thread and in Talk:Keith Sequeira#Copyright problem removed. So, not sure why you would do the same thing in another article. The same goes for the images you've been uploading/trying to use. Numerous warnings/explanations were left on your talk page, yet you just seem to ignore them and continue to plod ahead as if nobody will notice. One of the good things (or bad things) about Wikipedia is that everything we do as an editor is noticed by someone; Making mistakes is expected and other editors are willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and help explain why something shouldn't be done or how to do something better. If, however, you keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again, other editors become less willing to assume good faith and begin to wonder whether there is a competence issue instead. I think the latter is the situation you currently find yourself in, so you're really going to have to convince an administrator that you are sincere and that you will most definitely not do the same thing in the future.
Also, it might be a good idea to let some time pass before requesting another "block review". If your request is reviewed and declined by an administrator, then requesting another review shortly thereafter is almost surely going to be seen as insincere and is likely going to be declined as well. While it's true that indefinite blocks do not mean blocked forever, they are usually only made when an administrator feels the editor being blocked needs to take quite a bit of time off and reflect upon why they were blocked. Such blocks are almost never intended to only last a few days, yet alone a few hours. So repeatedly requesting reviews is not going to get you very far in my opinion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:54, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
