- Comment: This is being discussed at the Teahouse. Robert McClenon (talk) 21:37, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: See association football notability guidelines. The subject of this article has not played in a fully professional league, and is an assistant coach, not a manager (head coach), in a fully professional league. Robert McClenon (talk) 18:06, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: I disagree with GiantSnowman in that Western New York Flash is fully professional and competes in the most prominent level, hence he'd pass WP:NFOOTBALL. However, he is not the coach, but rather an assistant. As such, he fails both GNG and the latter guideline. FoCuS contribs; talk to me! 17:20, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: Has never played or coached in a fully-pro league so fails WP:NFOOTBALL, also looks to fail WP:GNG. GiantSnowman 21:51, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: I'm not entirely sure if this is notable so I'm notifying football user GiantSnowman for comment. SwisterTwister talk 21:14, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: The conclusion is that it should not. I will un-protect the title so that uf this draft is accepted it can be moved there. The point at issue in 2009 was whether Clitnovici had played for a professional side; the OTRS caller said that he had not, so if that claim is made in the article it needs good sourcing. JohnCD (talk) 22:17, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: The title Daniel Clitnovici was salted in 2009 when articles were twice deleted after a request at OTRS, ticket no: 2009010910019026. I have asked at the OTRS noticeboard for comment on whether that OTRS request should affect acceptance of this draft. JohnCD (talk) 13:53, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
