Your ACE2015 voters guide

Hello. Now, your voters guide is archived as User_talk:AGK/Archive/79#My_thoughts_on_the_2015_ArbCom_election_candidates, while most of the other voters guides are at User:Author/ACE2015 (see Wikipedia_talk:Arbitration_Committee_Elections_December_2015#Voting_guides). May be, you could make a copy of your guide to such a separate page ? Pldx1 (talk) 17:57, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

CheckUser?

Are you still a CheckUser? Why/Why not/What's going on? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Log?user=&page=User%3AAGK&type=rights shows you are, but https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=CheckUser_policy/Users_with_CheckUser_access&diff=next&oldid=15082236 and Automatically generated checkusers list say otherwise. --Elvey(tc) 00:51, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

AGK requested the removal of the CU/OS tools here. Mike VTalk 00:56, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see - resigned ArbCom seat! I wonder why. AGK's been deleting talk page archives too. (!) --Elvey(tc) 01:46, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hasn't resigned, but term expires in two weeks and is inactive until then. Has chosen to give up advanced tools, which any Arb or former Arb can do at any time. -- Euryalus (talk) 01:53, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Right, "vacated". Thanks for clarifying. Still, it's odd that the Special:Log pages indicate AGK is still a CheckUser, except with expert use --Elvey(tc) 02:14, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what you mean by "vacated" or "expert use." On my viewing the log shows CU was removed. -- Euryalus (talk) 18:56, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your talk page history

Hello, AGK. You appear to be deleting large parts of your talk page history. May I ask why? Jonathunder (talk) 17:47, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Not quite; he recently deleted his talk page archives, but he's allowed to do that, there's no requirement to keep archives, and WP:CSD#U1 is perfectly valid for that. Now, he did apparently revision delete some early (2006-2007) versions of his talk page back in 2012. Scott recently restored them, but that was after AGK's last edit here, so we don't know his reason for the revdels from a few years ago. Currently the entire history of his talk page (minus two diffs that were revdel'd for specific reasons) is available in the history tab. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:49, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just noticed your disappearance

I just noticed you've apparently decided to leave. While we've had our disagreements, including during our overlapping ArbCom stints, my short time on ArbCom made it clear that you were a workhorse there, doing a lot of the grunt work behind the scenes that no one outside the committee noticed. As your ArbCom time is up, I thought I'd say thanks for that. If you're gone for good, then vaya con Dios. If it's temporary, then see you around. --Floquenbeam (talk) 18:49, 22 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Signpost Arbitration interview request

Excuse me. I am lead writer for the Signpost's "Arbitration Report" and am wondering if you would be interested in answering some interviews questions as an outgoing Arbitrator. The questions will be asked through email, unless answering them here would be a more suitable choice. GamerPro64 18:57, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Hi AGK. I've been wanting to post some thank you notices to the outgoing Arbs, but circumstances have prevented me from doing so until now. Anyway, I thought I'd drop a quick note to say thank you for your hard work on the committee. We may not have always agreed whilst working together, but I never once doubted your intent was to improve things, and I really appreciate all the effort you put in. I see you've rather disappeared of late, I do hope that it isn't the last we've heard of you. WormTT(talk) 14:33, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The wonderful Z33 filter

See this note in case you're still around, and want to know how the alerts are working. Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 21:15, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Gabriella Ricca

Hi AKG! An editor named Accurizer redirected Gabriella Ricca to her father's Tony Ricca a Professional Wrestler page. He stated Gabriella Ricca does not meet Wikipedia’s WP:NGYMNASTICS, which is fine, however she does meet Wikipedia’s WP:GNG as some following links with a few multiple articles of in depth coverage to satisfy for her page to be brought back. She is eligible through WP:GNG. The articles mentioned are not a press releases as Accurizer stated. The articles are verifiable as they are published works from the media.

There is one article released through many of USA Today’s papers throughout the USA (Nationally) at that time, as they can now be found on their online website under Gymnastics. She was featured in the sports section for it. Her photo’s are provided in the article. There are many more that I don’t need to keep providing.

Link with story pic on UsaToday.com - http://www.usatoday.com/topic/b07264cc-172c-4ddf-acca-50b860a5cc76/gymnastics/ (Scroll down to Hammonton girl adjusts, wins gymnastics title) - Here is the article - http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/2014/07/27/hammonton-girl-adjusts-wins-gymnastics-title/13251325/

The Wisconsinrapidstribune.com - (Scroll down to Hammonton girl adjusts, wins gymnastics title as you will find it again) http://www.wisconsinrapidstribune.com/topic/b07264cc-172c-4ddf-acca-50b860a5cc76/gymnastics/

The Courierpostonline.com - goes directly to the page http://www.courierpostonline.com/story/sports/2014/07/27/hammonton-girl-adjusts-wins-gymnastics-title/13251325/

The list goes on throughout the USA for this article. All valid and verifiable as it shows.

The pressofatlanticcity.com features her in their article under Everyone Has a Story: Ex-wrestler dad helped young gymnast grapple with fear http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/blogs/michelle_post/everyone-has-a-story-ex-wrestler-dad-helped-young-gymnast/article_188e0bb2-0afb-11e4-b3dd-0019bb2963f4.html

He stated the Press of Atlantic City's article was more about her father which clearly shares both father and daughter but defines Gabriella's Accomplishment.

There are many more but I believe enough is valid enough to add her.

There is another source for Gabriella Ricca that's online from the Town of Hammonton giving her recognition for her World Championship win that was televised live at a Hammonton Town Council Meeting. Here is the link for her being recognized at the Town Hall meeting http://livestream.com/Hammonton/events/3326659 To note her recognition starts at just under 7 minutes or the meeting can be seen in it's entirety.

The following website is a live scoring system that documents athletic events. Here’s where she can be found for her World Championship Scores. http://www.meetscoresonline.com/2014-FL-USAIGC-IAIGC-World-Championships - Click Meet Results and scroll down to Session: 3 Level: CO Division: 12 yrs Click PDF - She’s also in the Top Scores Bracket.

In Hammonton, New Jersey, is there a place under Community where she can be placed? I had put her name under Events as the Hammonton League World Series is but I'm not sure if there should be another category created. They have a category for Wineries and Alcohol Consumption that have one article and a theatre with one also in it. I'm sure if that belongs there shouldn't other establishments have articles about them be categorized. Accurizer wrote that he will leave that up under Events but leave it to other editors to decide if it should stay there. My question is, she won a world title through an organization USAIGC/IAIGC that college students get recruited from and Olympic Gold Medalist Shannon Miller was a member of the USAIGC/IAIGC and another organization too. This is what Gabriella Ricca is doing as she is also training for Powerlifting competitions and will also have her first Pro Wrestling Match. She will again be featured in upcoming newspaper articles.

Please advise as to adding back the page Gabriella Ricca. I believe she does meet the requirements through WP:GNG.

Thank you very much Georgivac (talk) 20:29, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
