Asian, African, and European influences continue to dominate the food scene in the region?

From the article: A large dam on the Dnieper river was completed in 1964 built by thousands of immigrant workers. Because of these workers, a restaurant culture unique in Ukraine has emerged. A variety of diverse Asian, African, and European influences continue to dominate the food scene in the region. I am well aware of these situation. However, Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad (likely to be moved next week) are the regional centers, and there is certain chance they may have independent English usage. It was decided a long time ago that the names of Ukrainian localities just follow the official names, with exceptions being Kiev, Odessa, and Chernobyl. Now, presumably, Dnipropetrovsk qualifies as well, as well as localities in Crimea, Donetsk People Republic, and Luhansk People Republic (the Rada renamed some of these as well, though it is likely to have zero effect on the common usage). However, I can not imagine anybody resisting moving Dniprodzerzhynsk. Recently, we had a large RM for obscure Ukrainian localities, see Talk:Myrnohrad, which met no opposition.--Ymblanter (talk) 15:33, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
