Request reason:

I was trying to remove improper information and I accidentally removed the entire section. Instead of clicking cancel, I decided to click the save button and then go into history to get the original text and fix it. This school system bot or whatever it is immediately blocked me and gave me the same message of making an account. I am not going to make an account on a public computer due to the fact that others could easily then get into my mail account. I have been denied any chance of trying to fix a mistake. I would also like to note that if I try to delete this school message from the talk page it reappears and blocks me from editing out a message I don't want.

Decline reason:

Chronic vandalism stretching back months. We won't be lifting the block here. Also, please refrain from blanking notices about this active block. Yamla (talk) 13:03, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please do not modify previously declined unblock requests. It gives the impression that the decline took into account your newly added comments. You are welcome to request a new unblock, if you can provide strong reason to believe there'll never be any more vandalism from this address. --Yamla (talk) 13:16, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I would also like to note that any past vandalism came from other students since this is a computer school with other students. I do not know if their Wikipedia uses this same guest account since we all use the same computer profile but on different computers. It doesn't seem fair that we use the same exact Wikipedia guest account. There have also been times where students have used this one specific computer. As I said before, making an account on a public computer would lead to people easily getting into my email account. It has happened before to another student that was once here. It also doesn't seem fair I am not allowed to delete any messages from users and bots. I am being honest and genuine here. I'm pretty sure you have had past experiences with vandalism on this computer or guest account. All I do is fix spelling errors and remove old information that has an old citation needed since no one has been able to give evidence to these information. Isn't the point of removing information with an old citation needed, to get rid of it because that said information can't be proved to be true?

Decline reason:

Due to the history of vandalism from this IP address, the block needs to remain in place to prevent damage to Wikipedia. It does not, however, prevent logged in editors from editing. You can therefore create an account at home and use it while at school without the block being an issue. If you are unable to create an account at home for some reason, you can request one at WP:ACC. It doesn't let me since there has been too much vandalism on this account due to the computers using a proxy server. 204.11.185.62 (talk) 15:48, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

...which is why I said you would need to make an account at home, since you will not be able to do so from this IP. Yunshui  14:22, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
But then there is the problem of wasting my time being on Wikipedia when I could be getting my special work that I do at home done.204.11.185.62 (talk) 15:50, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I have not done any form of vandalism. I have not gotten any edit warnings at all and it seems that I was blocked for no reason. If there is a reason then tell me what it is.

Decline reason:

The replies and comments provided above still apply. Favonian (talk) 13:43, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Can you tell me what I did wrong to be blocked? I was not given any edit warning. If it is because I am an anonymous user then that doesn't seem to be fair one bit at all.204.11.185.62 (talk) 15:48, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You are not blocked (unless you are the user responsible for the earlier vandalism). You can edit Wikipedia with an account, but you cannot edit Wikipedia via this IP address. Please see the explanations above. Yunshui  13:54, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Is there anyway to make an account without having to use an email? Is there anyway at all?204.11.185.62 (talk) 15:48, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

November 2017

I can't even make my own account even though the school message says to make an account. I am not the same person from before who has made previous vandals. What makes me the most frustrated is that it says I'm blocked for vandalism which I have not done any, I am not being given any communication, and the block time is completely absurd.204.11.185.62 (talk) 15:48, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

204.11.185.62 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have been doing some research on Wikipedia and I have seen that I have not been informed on anything at all. I am not the same user who has made the previous vandals. I am trying to contribute to Wikipedia whenever I see something wrong. I have seen on Appealing a Block that I have not been given proper answers on the main reason why I was blocked. I was blocked for no reason given other than "The replies and comments provided above still apply" which mentions past vandalism. This doesn't make sense because as I have seen with other guest pages from schools, they weren't blocked again because of past vandalism whether the vandalism was them or not. I have not seen any policy regarding admins having the power to block a user for past vandalism. I am probably going to be told to make an account to solve all of this. I don't want to make an account because I am required to use an Email which I would rather keep private. I don't want to make an account at home because I am not working at home. I only edit Wikipedia when I see something wrong and I use Wikipedia all the time at this school. I am the only one who uses this one PC now, there are very few students, and we now have assigned seats. If I am being blocked because of the disruptive editing policy, then you should address it. If it is the disruptive editing policy, then why are you using it for past vandalism that wasn't even me? I may not know all the rules or the policies or even understand the policies I know clearly, and I may not be an expert at editing, but I am trying my best and if I make a mistake currently then it would be nice to be noted about it instead of a three month block without any real answers about it other than past vandalism. Please read what I am saying, I know it might not make sense at all but please try to understand what I am saying. I am not trying to be rude, I am trying to be unblocked so I can contribute to Wikipedia. I don't know how these computer deal with IP addresses.204.11.185.62 (talk) 15:48, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
