Helleborus orientalis
[edit]- ... that the Lenten rose (cultivar pictured) gets its name from flowering in Lent? Source
5x expanded by Casliber (talk). Self-nominated at 12:19, 6 January 2018 (UTC).
- Hi Casliber, review follows: 5x expansion confirmed 4-6 January; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited throughout to excellent sources; no close paraphrasing or copy vio found; Hook is interesting and would work well for posting in Lent (maybe Ash Wednesday on 14 February this year); hook fact checks out and is cited in the article (I added an extra citation to link the common and scientific names as the source linked above doesn't mention Helleborus orientalis); QPQ in progress; image is freely licensed at Commons and works well at small scale (I think the first world of the caption needs capitalising though) - Dumelow (talk) 13:10, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
