this topic is not fit to be an article on wikipedia. Just because the media paid unnecessary attention doesn't separate the "Arushi Talwar murder case" from other such cases- she was not a famous personality before the murder, hence she has got no place on wikipedia.Rushikesh ghatpande (talk) 16:03, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Can't do much but allways go sad for parents whi saw their fldaughter died in front of then and inspite of finding and punishing the servants or killer police and court find parents guilty and sent them to jail because of cbi internal team fights!!! What you get is around 1,323 news stories on this subject, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati (And one of the biggest Political leader of India) have doe a press conference on the Arushi Talwar Murder case. Seniors most police officers handling this case have been demoted. Women and Child Development Minister Renuka Choudhry have announced that ministry will file defamatory case against the Noida police. There is already an ongoing debate over Media trial / Media Harassment seen in this case. India's premier investigating agency CBI have taken over the case.

This is one of the most important murder cases of all times. It not only shows the failure of the judicial system in India but also of the declining morality of people. Police force of India's one of the largest states have failed. Its high time that India's police forces be trained in the lines of NYPD or LAPD. All the UP Police have done is harm the image of an innocent and dead 14 year old child. Even after CBI has taken over the case, it has been two weeks and they havent declared a single breakthrough in the case. This article shouldnt be deleted because if the Indian Governement has any shame, it should bring a revolution in its law enforcement bodies.

changing topic wont stop it from deletion

I still see that the murder is only being covered for one person.By changing the title you cannot fool.There is no coverage of the other person murdered and the template only has the arushi's name.It is a npov,Also the article is written in a story as a soap box.

"changing topic wont stop it from deletion" I don't think that kind of attitude is good for wikipedia. I fail to understand why you are against the existence of this article. Notability of this article have already been debated and in a resounding agreement administrator have closed the debate and moved this article to its current title.Content of the old article have not been changed to reflect its current title, as time goes on people will improve the article (you too can do so). need to add criticism section

First the timeline needs to be trimmed and a criticism section should be made critizing the role of the media for sensationalizing and the police for ill handling and Dr Talwar's human rights violations and also including points about revamping the justice system in India.

• This article is one of the best written online sources of information on this case.

• Although the people invoved (victim & family ) are not famous personalities , the agnecies

involved in the investigation are, and the serious lapses commited by them deserve discussion and hence the article deletion argument is invalid.

• A possibility exists that two innocent people have been convicted of murder. If that possibility

is true, it is an example of the serious inefficiency of the legal system of the worlds largest

democracy.

• There is scope for further improvement of the article .

Apartment

This article and numerous news reports refer to a staircase and a door that lead to the terrace where a body was found. The apartment map in the article does not show this door or staircase. These are supposed to be accessible only from within the apartment, but I have no idea where they are supposed to be located. Can someone add this in? Mnair77 (talk) 19:25, 5 December 2013 (UTC)

Questions

Did the investigators try to figure out whose palm print was it on the terrace wall? If yes, what was the result? Can the images of the palm print available be still used to compare with the palms of the suspects?
