What are you doing?. Why are you so mean to me. I did what you said, and again you added notability, to my page. Tell me what is now wrong with my page. Why did you again add notability. Why????. Please, I really want to know what I do wrong. --thomediter (talk) 17:57, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Thomediter: Firstly, I wouldn't consider removing inappropriate constant and adding a notability tag to an article as being mean. Secondly, the tag itself explains why it's there, so read it. And also read WP:NOTABILITY. All the sources I've found just mention the game is coming out. There is no preview coverage, or much information on its development/gameplay. Therefore, it probably shouldn't be an article until there is more significant coverage from reliable, secondary sources, like critic reviews. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:19, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
Halo Recruit listed at Redirects for discussion

Retro Gamer #91
Hi, would it be possible for you to provide me with scans of "The Making of Sonic Adventure" from Retro Gamer #91? JOEBRO64 14:56, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- @TheJoebro64: I can however the issue at my parents house and I won't be visiting there until the end of February. So you'd have to wait about a month. You could ask on the WikiProject talk page if anyone else has a copy. There are other editors who collect and read Retro Gamer. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:44, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying quickly. If I'm not able to find a scan I'll just let you know. JOEBRO64 22:19, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Mount & Blade 2: bannerlord
Hello there, i edited/added the ps4 and xbox platforms because several sites around the internet claims that the game will launch on consoles so based on these statements i added the plaforms in which the game will launch. ZenIceHero (talk) 06:52, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
Ubisoft Montpellier/Red Storm
No need to commentlessly revert the redirect twice. As pointed out, both articles carry just about no sources, and as such fail WP:GNG (keep in mind that notability is not WP:INHERITed). Both articles can be recreated if enough sources are found, but should be because sources can be found. Lordtobi (✉) 19:25, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Lordtobi: WP:BRD. You blanked an article without explanation. I reverted. You do not blanked it gain. You discuss. Stop making shit changes. I'll find sources if you're too lazy to bother. --The1337gamer (talk) 19:27, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
- Bad day? Please don't let off your steam onto other editors, thanks. I also don't see the point in massively restoring WikiProject templates that state the redirects are Start-class articles. Lordtobi (✉) 19:29, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Lordtobi: You've been around long enough to understand how things should work. Yet I still see you frequently edit warring and acting ineptly. I can give you a bunch of reasons why not to redirect those talk pages but I'm not going to waste my time. --The1337gamer (talk) 19:33, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
Collaborating on Halo
Hey The1337gamer, you seem to be willing to rescue the first Halo's Wikipedia entry from the FAR situation that's been brewing lately. I'd like to lend my hand for this effort, but in my view the first order of business will be to assemble a credible information base to beef up the article's Development section, which seems substandard to me. I think it is important to obtain scans of an article from Electronic Gaming Monthly's Issue 151 (February 2002) titled "Afterthoughts – Halo", which explains the rationale behind some of the more fundamental revisions made to the game during its development. However, neither this particular issue nor the feature seem to be available in electronic form, as do many of EGM's issues from the early 2000s. I wonder if you happened to come across this article or know some way to access it in the short run? I would be much obliged to be able to count on your support. Notability of The Sims 4 Game Packs
Hi The1337gamer, I noticed you've tagged The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure as questionable notability. I was curious as to whether or not this is applicable to other expansion packs for the game that have their own articles. I've been focused on editing The Sims articles recently because the franchise is very near to my heart, so I would appreciate other viewpoints as to the notability of these specific expansion pack articles. I'm also more than happy to continue working on articles such as this and others that are lacking citations, as I have been able to find more sources other than what is already featured on the article. Thank you, Nanophosis (talk) 17:40, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Nanophosis: I have similar issues with the other Sims 4 articles. These articles are very short and there is no coverage from reliable sources on the development and design of these expansions. Reception/review coverage is minimal as well. I think merging them to one article would be more appropriate than having 10 separate articles. An article titled something like The Sims 4 expansion packs or The Sims 4 downloadable content that covers all of the content from these expansion articles would work.--The1337gamer (talk) 18:18, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

TFL notification
Hi, The1337gamer. I'm just posting to let you know that List of BioWare video games – a list that you have been heavily involved with – has been chosen to appear on the Main Page as Today's featured list for April 30. The TFL blurb can be seen here. If you have any thoughts on the selection, please post them on my talk page or at TFL talk. Regards, Giants2008 (Talk) 23:19, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
Hi, have deprodded this to merge into the List of celebrity appearances in video games. That list is currently unreferenced so I will try to add a reference for every entry. User:PMC said to go ahead with the merge as it has been proposed since 2017 but am a bit busy so will hope to start it and add refs within the next two weeks, thanks Atlantic306 (talk) 10:39, 11 April 2018 (UTC)
Edge Magazine no. 240 May 2012
Know how to get ahold of this? According to the cover, it contains something on Quantic Dream, which I wanna rewrite. The studio profile you suggested contributed a lot to Dontnod Entertainment. I'm just grasping at straws for something like that to improve Quantic Dream's article. Cognissonance (talk) 17:08, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- I don't have this issue of Edge and I don't think it has a detailed Studio Profile feature like the one on Dontnod in #293. It does have an interview with David Cage though. Edge republished the interview from #240 on their website. Here's a link: [1]. If you're looking for other print sources, then I know that GamesTM #194 released this year had a feature on Detroit with David Cage and Quantic Dream. --The1337gamer (talk) 18:07, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- I found this in Games TM, p. 30: "the rate at which human intelligence develops pales in comparison to that of a machine". I wrote that in Detroit: Become Human's development section. Nice, they borrowed from me. Cognissonance (talk) 20:08, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- Wow ye, just checked it myself. Word for word copy there. I've noticed this a few times with some of my work on Wikipedia. Writers for video game websites or YouTubers copying stuff almost exactly from Wikipedia articles that I edited. I feel like a handful of WP:VG's most dedicated editors are better content writers than the majority of the video game press anyway and we do it for free. --The1337gamer (talk) 20:26, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
- I've noticed the same on multiple occasions, like Metro Times quoting me instead of David Cage: "to revitalize a city that had succumbed to economic decline after having made a historical contribution to American industry". All they did was change the s to a z! Cognissonance (talk) 20:51, 5 May 2018 (UTC)

About DS Bosses list
Do I need to restrict the list to bosses important to the plot, or do I add NPCs? Or is it because it isn't finished? VolseniMack (talk) 18:55, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- Lists of bosses, NPCs, weapons, enemies, etc don't belong on Wikipedia. #6 and #7 at WP:GAMECRUFT cover this. --The1337gamer (talk) 19:02, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
- I just thought "Hey, since there are already lists of video game characters, why not make this list?". And I know about the part on "no boss lists on Wikipedia"(at least now I do). I would assume that the bosses within the Souls games have more significance than the main characters and are one of the important parts of the series gameplay-wise. VolseniMack (talk) 18:29, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- Most lists of video game characters are really poor quality and shouldn't exist. It's just that a lot of them are old and nobody has bothered to deal with them. We have actually redirected/deleted a bunch of them in recent years. We should only write about video game characters that have real world significance and not focus too much on the in-universe perspective. Dark Souls bosses, while they are a significant component of the games, they are not really subject to coverage outside of that fictional universe. A boss list also runs the risk of being written too much like a game guide since the player's interaction with the characters is simply fighting them, and Wikipedia is not a game guide. Content like this is better for a Dark Souls wiki rather than Wikipedia. --The1337gamer (talk) 18:45, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

How does leaving a link to either the Dark Souls wiki or Fextralife as a "for more information" sort of thing? VolseniMack (talk) 19:05, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
