Disambiguation link notification for February 23
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aderra Inc., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slipknot. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Problems with upload of File:Darkstar news from nowhere.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Darkstar news from nowhere.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 14:05, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
Recent edit to Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 without explaining why.
Are you in the process of rearranging the content of this article?
In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Recent edit to Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 without explaining why.
When you edit, you will need to explain the large amount of text and information that you are removing or moving to other editors so that these large changes won't be seen as unconstructive. Unfortunately, you also don't want to be suspected of some kind of disruptive vandalism so it is best if you explain such a large amount of editing.
If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Bfpage |leave a message 13:30, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Project template additions
I've just noticed that you'd started adding the WPVG template to the missing articles. Are you doing these by hand? Ever thought about asking for AWB permission? It makes this sort of stuff a lot easier and there's loads of help and advice available should you need it. - X201 (talk) 12:00, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm doing by hand. I'll look into AWB. Thanks for the advice. The1337gamer (talk) 12:03, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Here you go WP:AWB is the main page and WP:AWBCP is the request for permission page. Have a look at the requests archive to gauge what will and won't get you permission. - X201 (talk) 12:22, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
Video Game Review Templates
There is no rule that states that video game templates cannot be used to show reviews in TV articles. The template is quite a useful way to display the scores in the reviews quickly and it is effective in communicating how the episode was received by critics. Please refrain from changing any other articles with such a template. Thank you. - Drywater2k (talk) 17:06, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
- I urge you not to revert any edits. So far, your arguments on the template is that it is not recommended and that it has the name "video game template." However, since it is not disallowed and no admin is preventing its use, there is currently no authority to remove its usage. Please do not undertake this removal solely on the proclivities of the name. - Drywater2k (talk) 19:20, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

Removal of "TThe Binding of Isaac (video game)" & Editing of the "Reception" on rebirth.
Why was this typo removed? I see no reason in it not existing. If someone accidentally clicks the "T/t" button twice it should go to the destination wanted, not to a "This page doesn't exist". Also, I didn't just add the user reviews, I also added another part to it, the PS4 version of Rebirth should also have its reviews shown, I can see why you removed the user reviews but I cannot see why the PS4 one was removed. Anarchyte (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 09:42, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Anarchyte: I proposed deletion because it seems like an implausible redirect. It's unlikely that people would misspell one of the most common 3 letters words in the English language without realising their mistake. As for Rebirth, you added repetition, the PS4 score is already listed there. The1337gamer (talk) 09:54, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Halo 4 you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Running With Rifles Ideas
Hello and thank you for your help with my recently created page.
I was wondering if you could upload the logo of the game so that the page would feel and look better. I don't know how to put the correct copyright material, etc onto Wikipedia so if you could do it that would be great.
Also, couldn't the massive list have been put into a collapse-able box instead of removing it completely, I still have the original archived on my sandbox if needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anarchyte (talk • contribs) 11:19, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Anarchyte: Version history lists shouldn't be included at all. You should try to summarise development in a paragraph. Write about the notable changes or additions that were made during the process. The priority first should be expanding content and establishing notability, I'll upload an image once that is done. --The1337gamer (talk) 11:30, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- @The1337gamer: If I sum all the updates up for each year in a paragraph would that work?--Anarchyte (talk) 11:40, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Anarchyte: You should only be writing about things that are worth noting. Trivial/minor updates probably should not be covered. Take a look at the video game article guidelines and some of the articles on the list of Good video game content. It will give you a better idea of what stuff should and shouldn't be included. --The1337gamer (talk) 11:51, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

Keeping Wikipedia Expanding Not Shrinking
Hello User:The1337gamer sorry for disturbing you. The reason I am writing you is we all love Wikipedia and we want it expanding. However there is a discussion going on to delete a notable game article because of biased opinions. I saw that you edited this article: Yu-Gi-Oh!_Power_Of_Chaos and let it stay for further expansion, update and keep growing Wikipedia even though it has no references. But I am also totally agree with you to let articles stay for improvements and expand Wikipedia. So I believe you are a neutral, professional, objective and who believes in expanding Wikipedia not shrinking it type of person. So I would like you to check out this discussion Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/MonsterMMORPG_(2nd_nomination) and make your comment based on references it has. References are here Talk:MonsterMMORPG. Please feel free to delete my message to you after you read it. Thank you very much have a nice day.176.233.41.152 (talk) 14:05, 15 April 2015 (UTC) |

Sega article
Shoudn't the Dreamcast picture also be removed, otherwise it is kinda inconsistent --Tripple-ddd (talk) 08:51, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Tripple-ddd: I've not removed them. Just hiding them temporarily while we figure out a way to better structure the article. It looks bad when there are too many images squashing the text. The Nintendo article doesn't show every Nintendo console (even though we have free images of all of them) because it would overwhelm and clutter the article. --10:29, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Ssx3soundtrack.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Ssx3soundtrack.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:33, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
Removal of Distribution from infobox video game on Lost Saga's page?
What was the purpose of this? Why was it removed? Isn't it important that Distribution Mediums remain a part of the general information? I've checked plenty of other pages, and nowhere do I see the general consensus to go about deleting the Distribution aspect of the infobox video game. A helpful answer would be nice.
--MontgomeryDalton (MontgomeryDalton) 19:30, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
@MontgomeryDalton: There was a link to the concensus in my edit summary. In case you didn't view that, here is the discussion: Template talk:Infobox video game#Media. The parameter has been removed from the template so even if you re-add it in the article it won't appear. --The1337gamer (talk) 23:36, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
So does this mean I should go about, deleting Distribution from every game's page I know? Is there any pages that shouldn't have it removed?
--MontgomeryDalton (MontgomeryDalton) 23:50, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
@MontgomeryDalton: If you want to then go ahead, but it's nothing to worry about it. There's around 20,000 video game articles with an infobox on. Loads of them have defunct parameters. They just won't show up once the article is updated. Eventually someone (like myself) or a bot will come along and clean it up. I'm using a semi-automated tool to speed up the process as this stuff can get pretty tedious and take a long time when there are thousands of articles to deal with. --The1337gamer (talk) 23:58, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Star wars battlefront Dice page
Hello, I was wondering why you reverted my edit on the star wars battlefront Dice page. Since I provided links and everything to things I said. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maarten359 (talk • contribs) 20:13, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Maarten359: You did not provide a reliable source for the criticism/fan reception, which was the main part of your addition. The IGN source says nothing about fan reception, it only mentions the exclusion of space battles with an explanation from the developers. --The1337gamer (talk) 20:26, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
- True, I will fix that. but you removed the IGN exclusion as well — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maarten359 (talk • contribs) 17:21, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Maarten359: That IGN information is irrelevant in the Reception section if their is no reception to go with it, so it was appropriate to remove it all. It was also repetition; the gameplay section already mentions that battles are planet based and there is no campaign mode, accompanied with 3 references that cover the same information the IGN source did. --The1337gamer (talk) 17:32, 26 May 2015 (UTC)

Could you take a look over my page?
Hello, I created a page but I'm unsure what class it's at. I set it as a C class article when I first made it and I want to see if it is actually that and not a different class. (If that made any sense). --☣Anarchyte☣ 03:12, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Anarchyte: I've rated it Start for now. Most of the sections seem quite brief and I'm sure they could be expanded with more details. By the way, when you create an article, you can just leave it unassessed. Add the project template and somebody else can assess it for you if you are not sure. Also, it's best not to assess articles that you contribute to significantly. If you want someone to reassess an article you have been working on then you can add "|reassess=y" onto the project template. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:44, 31 May 2015 (UTC)

Pre-emptive Fallout 4 protection?
Hi The1337gamer,
What do you think, shall I ask for a edit protection? I think that Fallout 4 can easily become a target for IP vandalism and unconstructive edits. --Soetermans. T / C 12:46, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- Just to jump in here, you could request it, but I doubt they would go for it unless you find am administration who likes Fallout. Most others will probably just say that there hasn't been any yet and that protection isn't normally preventive before anything has happened. --Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 13:29, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Soetermans: I don't think it is much of an issue at the moment. There are not many IP editors editing the page currently. If vandalism and unconstructive editing does ramp up towards/during E3 then request protection. --The1337gamer (talk) 14:19, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, you're both right. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks. --Soetermans. T / C 14:39, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
Sword of Fargoal edits....
Hi,
Just wondering why you decided to delete all of the stuff people contributed about the game? (Your edit dated 6/9/2015) Much time was spent by many to help create that info,(which is pertinent to the game) who gave you the right to tear it all down? Perhaps you can give a logical reason for this?
--AA Pilot16 (talk) 16:51, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
- @AA Pilot16: I explained why I removed that content in my edit summary. It is WP:GAMEGUIDE and WP:GAMECRUFT material. Trivial content such as lists of items and enemies within a game are not appropriate for video game articles. --The1337gamer (talk) 16:56, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Bots
You are receiving this message because a technical change may affect a bot, gadget, or user script you have been using. The breaking change involves API calls. This change has been planned for two years. The WMF will start making this change on 30 June 2015. A partial list of affected bots can be seen here: https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2015-June/081931.html This includes all bots that are using pywikibot compat. Some of these bots have already been fixed. However, if you write user scripts or operate a bot that uses the API, then you should check your code, to make sure that it will not break.
What, exactly, is breaking? The "default continuation mode" for action=query requests to api.php will be changing to be easier for new coders to use correctly. To find out whether your script or bot may be affected, then search the source code (including any frameworks or libraries) for the string "query-continue". If that is not present, then the script or bot is not affected. In a few cases, the code will be present but not used. In that case, the script or bot will continue working.
This change will be part of 1.26wmf12. It will be deployed to test wikis (including mediawiki.org) on 30 June, to non-Wikipedias (such as Wiktionary) on 1 July, and to all Wikipedias on 2 July 2015.
If your bot or script is receiving the warning about this upcoming change (as seen at https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages ), it's time to fix your code!
- The simple solution is to simply include the "rawcontinue" parameter with your request to continue receiving the raw continuation data (example <https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages&rawcontinue=1>). No other code changes should be necessary.
- Or you could update your code to use the simplified continuation documented at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Query#Continuing_queries (example <https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages&continue=>), which is much easier for clients to implement correctly.
Either of the above solutions may be tested immediately, you'll know it works because you stop seeing the warning.
Do you need help with your own bot or script? Ask questions in e-mail on the mediawiki-api or wikitech-l mailing lists. Volunteers at m:Tech or w:en:WP:Village pump (technical) or w:en:Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard may also be able to help you.
Are you using someone else's gadgets or user scripts? Most scripts are not affected. To find out if a script you use needs to be updated, then post a note at the discussion page for the gadget or the talk page of the user who originally made the script. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 19:04, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Based on your undo here of my reversion of another IP's edit, as far as I can tell they were merely randomly changing the attribution of a quotation from one source to another. Lucas the Game Page Issues
Thanks for your recent edit, for explaining the role of the bot. However, someone wrongly deleted two images which should have not been. The artist who owns the right has given permission. The cover image and a screenshot were deleted. Now, I've managed to get the developer to publicly post permission for use, which you can view here:
http://www.lucasthegame.com/granting-permission-to-use-the-following-artwork-from-lucas-the-game/
However, I do not have permission to upload them myself, yet. Would you please review the reference I've sourced, and add them back into the Lucas the Game page properly.
Thank you sir. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robotreality (talk • contribs) 23:03, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- @Robotreality: Going by the bot's edit summary, it seem that images were deleted from the Commons for copyright violation. If you are uploading images to Wikimedia Commons, make sure that the author's permission is satisfactory under the acceptable licenses listed at Commons:Licensing. Evidence of permission needs to be provided on the file's page. Alternatively, non-free video game art and screenshots can be uploaded to Wikipedia for identification purposes provided that they satisfy Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. --The1337gamer (talk) 23:30, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Bloodstained Forums Link
Regarding this note: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:MikeyMc#June_2015
The fan forums link that was removed was completely understandable for the time it was removed. However, in the latest KickStarter update for the project the forums were shown to soon be official. Can we now include a link to those forums? The admin account is in the hands of FanGamer who are officially staff of the Bloodstained game.
Here is the link to the update: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iga/bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night/posts/1286023
Best regards, Mike McDaniel
- @MikeyMc: Currently no, because it is not official yet. Here is a link to the Wikipedia's guideline on external links (Wikipedia:External links). Fansites and forums are links to be avoided, although this case may fall under an official link when that happens. Generally, I'm against including even official forum links on video game articles as other more appropriate official links are usually available and I don't find the majority of forum content to be particularly useful or informative. So I would recommend opening a discussion about its inclusion on the game's talk page (Talk:Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night) to see what other editors think. --The1337gamer (talk) 11:32, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
Can you say something directly instead of referring me to links? Having read what you provided, I think having all the covers is justified. I think NBA 2K12 having all the covers would be justified for the same reason. Having all covers makes the article better. What harm does it do having the pictures in the article while they can be put in the article (while they are uploaded and have not been deleted)? I think one cover is absolutely fine. However, if you can use all four, why wouldn't you? The reasonings are stupid (things like "it is preferred"). Not a big deal either way. —DangerousJXD (talk) 09:28, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- @DangerousJXD: WP:VGBOX clearly states "Cover art is used as identifying artwork in the game's infobox, generally, only one cover should be present, regardless of platform or regional differences." Secondly, all of these images are copyrighted, which means Wikipedia has to abide by United States Copyright law so they don't get sued or in legal trouble. This means that all non-free content (such as these images) must satisfy Wikipedia's policy on non-free content. And official Wikipedia policy states that we should minimize the amount of non-free content. Four pieces of cover art is certainly not minimal usage. The purpose of cover art is for identification and one artwork fulfils that purpose meaning all the other do not have satisfactory rational for use. Any differences such as the athlete featured on the cover can be explained in words if necessary. And lastly, the way these images were presented in the article makes it a non-free image gallery, which is also generally unacceptable under Wikipedia policy. --The1337gamer (talk) 09:50, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- Pity you can't put that in an edit summary ;). I stand by what I think. I think all those arguments are weak. If they weren't weak arguments, the pictures would of been deleted in five minutes (they'll be deleted now obviously). Don't care anymore. Thank you for that comprehensive, speedy answer. —DangerousJXD (talk) 09:58, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
August 2015
The information I added is clearly "Subject-specific common knowledge" which doesn't require citation, and whether it is my responsibility to cite it or not, does not mean that it should be removed. As I said earlier, "citation needed" could be added. WP:When to cite Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 12:19, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- @Freshness For Lettuce: Wikipedia:When to cite is an essay, not a policy or guideline. It also says "may not require a citation", not "doesn't require a citation". As listed at WP:V (which is Wikipedia policy), all content must be verifiable. Unsourced content can be challenged, and in this case it has been challenged. WP:BURDEN states that the person who restores the material (which is you) must provide a citation to a reliable source. A {{cn}} tag could be added, but editors are completely justified in removing unsourced content. As the article has already achieved Good Article status, such maintenance tags should not be present for article remain assessed as Good Article. Your edit summaries say that it is easily verifiable, so why don't you just provide a reliable source instead of resorting to edit warring? --The1337gamer (talk) 12:42, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Of course it is an essay, though it is a righteous essay. What counts as a "challenge" isn't defined in WP:V, and "unsourced" is a silly reason to delete such obvious information that adds a lot to "Gameplay", which is barren. It is easily sourced, though sourcing is tedious, especially on a mobile device. A Good Article can't have "citation needed", but if the information that would have "citation needed" would improve the article, being unsuitable for Good Article is fine. Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 13:04, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- It was challenged when MarkHoris reverted your edit, the inclusion of this information without a reliable source. I don't care if you think removing unsourced information is silly, policy covers it and with good reason. While adding citations and references is tedious on a mobile device, it is not an excuse to continue restoring unsourced information. There are plenty of mobile editors who provide citations and reliable sources to all the information they add to articles. If you really can't add inline citations efficiently, then you can provide a link to a reliable source for the information on the talk page, and another editor can add it to the article. A citation needed tag is not a substitute for providing a reliable source. If the article is reassessed, either the unsourced information would be removed or the article would fail to maintain Good Article status if no citation is provided. --The1337gamer (talk) 13:29, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Still undefined what is the criteria for a "challenge". I don't think removing unsourced information is silly in general, I think specifically that removing obvious and good information that is unsourced from what is barren, is silly. Being a Good Article is "trivial", having the unsourced information that I added is better for the article. The tediousness is why I haven't added a citation which I never said was an excuse, what is an excuse for no citation is how the information doesn't need a citation and if thought that it does, then "citation needed" could be added. Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 13:54, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Instead of wasting time trying to justify adding unsourced information to me, you probably could have found a reliable source by now and re-added that information back to the article... --The1337gamer (talk) 14:06, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

I am not wasting time and not trying to "justify" it to you, I was explaining things such as how Good Article is "trivial". It is entertaining to converse and I was already looking for a source. If it should have had a source in somebody's opinion, "citation needed" should've been used as I said and WP:NOCITE recommends. Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 14:29, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- I'm afraid you've got that backwards. "GA" is not trivial. Unsourced "information" is trivial. We don't need it. When you can provide a reliable source, do so. Until then, I'm afraid @The1337gamer: has a point. - Denimadept (talk) 22:24, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- The quality of the article is what matters, "GA" is a "trivial" title. I already provided a reliable source and readded the information. Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 23:21, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed, the quality of the article is what matters. Unsourced material is unsourced, has no way to verify it, and can be made up out of whole cloth. Use citations or be reverted. - Denimadept (talk) 23:39, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

The article Hitman Go you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. Hi there. I'm curious what's going on there, as I've noticed a huge string of reverts with no explanation. I've warned the other user about edit warring, but I'm having difficulty seeing clear vandalism that would warrant use of rollback. There is no need to do the page move requests the way you're doing... Instead use the WP:CSD process. Specifically on the top of the page where you want the content moved to, but there is already a page preventing a move do the following:
{{db-move|1=OLD_PAGE_PAGE|2=REASON_FOR_MOVE}}
And you'll be all set, no need to report it on the page move page. However, only do this for technical, not disputed or controversial moves. Thanks! Tiggerjay (talk) 17:59, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ~ NottNott talk|contrib 13:43, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- @NottNott: Deliberately adding falsities to articles to articles is vandalism. Reverting vandalism is not edit warring. The editor I reverted has a long history of IP hopping and vandalising multiple articles which I've recorded here: User:The1337gamer/sandbox#ipvandal. So your warning message is nonsense and unnecessary. --The1337gamer (talk) 13:49, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- Admittedly, an explanation is fine by me. On the surface what was added to the article appears fine, despite no sources. I think the editor was editing in good faith - and since you made no attempt to explain this to him/her it appeared more like a hostile edit war. I hope you can see where my warning was coming from. ~ NottNott talk|contrib 13:58, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- I hate to leap into this, but trust me, Fidel (the name the IP sometimes takes on other wikis) is not editing in good faith. He is purely vandalising. And he's done this on the Mario and Sonic wikias too. He's not going to stop until likely we know for a fact what the character roster for those games actually is. 85.210.183.37 (talk) 18:27, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

Notice
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled.
Your account has also been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Blanking the Besiege page
Greetings, I'm a professor at UOIT in Oshawa, Canada. My students are participating in the WikiEd program. One of the rules is that students are not allowed to edit the mainspace before they have received permission from me and from the WikiEd team. This is to avoid huge cleanups that have been required in years past when profs are not supervising properly. I have blanked the page to alert the community that the page should be deleted. If the student does a good job in their sandbox, then the material will be moved online, not before. Let me know if you have any further questions as I will be blanking the page again. Best, --Jaobar (talk) 20:03, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Please could you refrain from removing the soundtrack listings from the FIFA game series pages. - @The1337gamer: I feel as though you are being immensely pedantic as far as that 'rule' is concerned. The soundtrack listings have been a fundamental feature of the FIFA Game Series pages since they were first created, and I cannot stress enough the usefulness of the listings. The whole point of a Wikipedia page is to contain information, so why you would want to remove something as important and informative as the soundtrack listing is beyond me. Furthermore, I am certain that the vast majority of people who read the pages would side with me on this, so am asking you again to refrain from removing the listings. --— Preceding unsigned comment added by JDFezza (talk • contribs)

- @The1337gamer: Surely the fact that another user (@DangerousJXD:) has flagged the same issue to you over another similar game would signal to you that this is not what is wanted, nor what is best for the Wikipedia community? You are taking useful information off a page because you are clinging onto an insignificant 'rule', and in all honesty you seem to be the only Wikipedia user I've come across employing this particular one. Seriously, the only one - ever... In my opinion I feel as though you are attempting to be ostentatious, trying to impress people with your knowledge of unfamiliar 'rules', but it really isn't impressive at all - it's an unnecessary annoyance. I'm going to bring up the issue regarding the use of Dragon Quest packaging artwork to WP:VG and give you a link to you there, so please stop reverting my edits. Thank you. Jonny2x4 (talk) 17:12, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Jonny2x4: See WP:BRD. You made a bold edit without discussion and I reverted it. The article should remain in its previous state until the matter is resolved so stop brute forcing your way through. --The1337gamer (talk) 17:14, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- @The1337gamer: At least stop undoing some of the corrections I made to the article since changing the packaging art on the infobox. You're just blinding reverting my edits without considering some of the other changes made since then. Jonny2x4 (talk) 17:19, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Jonny2x4: Revert the cover art edit per WP:BRD, you are the one edit warring by ignoring the guidelines (WP:CONSENSUS, WP:VGBOX). --The1337gamer (talk) 17:21, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
- @The1337gamer: I brought up the issue here. Feel free to give your opinion there from this point on. Jonny2x4 (talk) 17:34, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Dreamcast units sold
At this rate, the Wii U isn't even on pace to outsell Nintendo's last struggling system, the GameCube. Sega sold 10.6 million Dreamcast consoles between its November 27, 1998 Japanese launch and when the console was officially discontinued in March 2001.Apr 17, 2014 Stopchangingstuff (talk) 05:32, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

Aliens versus Predator 2 external link
You seem to be experienced in Video game articles. Would you review the addition of this external link AvP Unknown to this article? It has been added to the article multiple times.over an extended period (at least 5 years), as a supposed official patch [2]. To end the last round of edit warring I moved it to the external links section [3]. I'd appreciate another opinion on whether it should be in the article at all. Talk page discussion here. Thanks. Meters (talk) 19:38, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Meters: Removed the unsourced statement as I cannot find coverage from reliable sources. Removed the external link also, as generally, its not appropriate to link to fan sites. Added the page to my watchlist in case there is any further spamming in the future. --The1337gamer (talk) 20:01, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
- As expected. Thanks. Meters (talk) 20:03, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
TonyTestly spamtastic
Hi there.
Nice work on TonyTestly's edits. I had noticed the flood last night and was going to look into it deeper today - many of the articles in question are on my watchlist. Not that it appears necessary, or indeed worth much, but you'll have my support in further reversions. Chaheel Riens (talk) 14:26, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
Hey, quick question
Is WWE 2K16's soundtrack listing more worthy of being included in its article than NBA 2K16's soundtrack listing? —DangerousJXD (talk) 08:25, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- @DangerousJXD: I don't think so. I'm not finding any significant coverage of the soundtrack independent of the game. All of the sources just list what the songs are. Seems to fail #14 WP:VGSCOPE, so I've removed it. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:11, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- I really hate talking to editors who imitate brick walls so thanks for removing it. Get ready to be reverted! :) —DangerousJXD (talk) 10:15, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- @DangerousJXD: I requested full page protection so he won't be able to restore it at least for a week. Hopefully by then he'll have forgotten about it. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:27, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I didn't do that myself because it could have been viewed as a full fledged edit war, but of course it wasn't. I usually only request page protection if it's serious vandalism or if there is more than two editors involved. —DangerousJXD (talk) 21:33, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

List of Mario sports games spamming edit
Hello again. Regarding the edit that I told you about earlier. There is yet another edit I would want you to know about. It's a spam edit and was wondering if you could fix it and get back to normal. The edit is by 188.29.164.186. And it contains information that has not been disclosed by Nintendo. Could you fix it ASAP, Thanks.
Edit: Before you do anything to the list, I just want to say that I've already got it fixed. I'm just having a bit of trouble with re-inserting the infobox, which got messed up a few times, similar to the Toki Tori page that I'm still trying to fix (as I'm typing this here). Well I hope you can give me some help on that, maybe some advice on how to deal with the problem.
Zacharyalejandro (talk) 08:55, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Zacharyalejandro: I know about this IP editor, he's been vandalising Mario and Sonic articles for months. I was previously keeping a log of him here: User:The1337gamer/sandbox/ip_vandal_1. But as you've fixed it, that's all good. I made a minor edit to the Toki Tori page to fix the infobox, the braces were just in the wrong place. --The1337gamer (talk) 10:05, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
I'll let you know if I'll need anymore help with something. That okay with you? And plus, I haven't seen or heard from Takinzinnia (talk • contribs) in a while. Who's going to keep the List of Wii U software page updated? I sure I can't, lol. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 10:23, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
Protection of Wikipedia articles.
The1337gamer, Hello. If it's not a problem, could you provide protection on pages List of Nintendo 3DS games, List of Wii U software? Because I keep seeing some spam posts. But what concerns me is every time I see the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Wiki page show up on my email. I checked out the changes and the changes are sometimes spam posts, like the Shrek spam that I keep seeing. That needs to stop. If at all possible, could you provide protection of these pages to reduce spamming posts in the future? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 17:48, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Zacharyalejandro: I can't protect pages as I'm not an administrator. You can request page protection here: Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. --The1337gamer (talk) 20:12, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Lara Croft Go
Hey—would you be interested in working on Lara Croft Go with me? I rewrote the dev section and am working on the Reception, but it would be great if you could round out the Gameplay section on the way to GA. I think it would be most helpful to describe the game as being board game-like with a pawn that is moved about a board, activating switches and whatnot, but perhaps see if a source actually describes it like that? It's a bit too oblique as written. czar 03:38, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
New game page needs a review
Atwar was a name redirect that has been taken over for an article on the AtWar game. Since it was an existing redirect the article never went through a new article review. I've removed the worst (refs to wikipedia, social media links, highest scores, etc.) and added a few maintenance tags, but it needs much more work and the authors are ignoring the tags. It looks to me as if there is way too much chatty detail, and almost no reliable, independent sources, but I'm not a games article person so I don't know where to look for better sources or what is normal content. Meters (talk) 21:31, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, I found the new video games article list on your user page. I'll add it there with a request for review. Meters (talk) 21:35, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Meters: I've nominated it for deletion. It doesn't meet notability criteria. I can't find any significant coverage from reliable video game websites. --The1337gamer (talk) 21:42, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was leaning the same way but not my area so I punted. Meters (talk) 21:43, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Divinity: Original Sin 2 on consoles
Hello there, the source is in the Enchanced edition of Divinity: Original Sin 1. According to the release of the consoles edition, this indicates that they will in fact release a Divinity: Original Sin 2 enhanced edition to the consoles, there is no doubts that they will launch a console edition soon after the PC version. 179.210.81.233 (talk) 19:21, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- @179.210.81.233: That is not a valid source confirming a console release, it is you speculating. If it is not verifiable by reliable sources then it shouldn't be in the article. --The1337gamer (talk) 19:24, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Oh well, i guess it was really speculation then, sorry if i speculated. Lets wait and see if they will release console versions of Divinity: Original Sin 2. 179.210.81.233 (talk) 20:17, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Notes to the amiibo page
Hey. I want your help with something. On the amiibo page, there is a bunch for notes underneath the List of Amiibo-branded NFC items, I want them moved to the Notes section at the bottom of the page. Think you could do that for me? I appreciate it. Thanks! Zacharyalejandro (talk) 04:33, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
New Nintendo 3DS Cover Plates
I have another question. Could you also add the four Pokémon cover plates for the New Nintendo 3DS? They were announced for release in Japan on February 27th, 2016 as part of Pokémon's 20th Anniversary.

Adding an insert in Monster High page
Do you mind adding the video games to the Monster High wiki page. These games are Monster High: New Ghoul in School and Monster High: Skultimate Roller Maze.
If you can add these video games to the page, I'd greatly appreciate adding a redirect to the 3DS games later. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 03:30, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Zacharyalejandro: I added a sentence about New Ghoul in School under the Video games section, if that's what you meant. Skultimate Roller Maze is already mentioned there. --The1337gamer (talk) 00:34, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
@The1337gamer Yes, that would be it. Thanks! If I have any more questions, I'll be sure to give you a holler. That OK? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 00:41, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
