Request for an article

Hi everyone, Firstly, is there a place on the project page for article requests? Secondly, if not, I am requesting an article about Women Divers Hall of Fame. Regards Cowdy001 (talk) 19:13, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pbsouthwood - right down your alley, yes? Atsme✍🏻📧 21:29, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Atsme, Cowdy001. Organisations are not my area of expertise. How do we establish notability for this one? I am getting very little coverage on Google. · · · Peter (Southwood) (talk): 05:25, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I just did a google search and the first 10 pages revealed sources including American Academy of Underwater Sciences, Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme, California Polytechnic State University, DAN, DEMA, NAUI, PADI, Phycological Society of America, School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, Stony Brook University and TDI/SDI. Most of these sources did have articles on WP. Also, the search results included a number of publications such as Dive Mag, Diver Training, Sport Diver and X-Ray. Therefore, I believe the coverage is good (and better than a lot of articles under the auspices of WikiProject Underwater diving). Regards Cowdy001 (talk) 07:38, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Female hysteria merge discussion

Opinions are needed on the following: Talk:Female hysteria#Merge discussion. A permalink for it is here. The discussion concerns what to do with the Hysteria article since "hysteria" is not synonymous with "female hysteria," at least in the modern sense. Notable female sociologists lacking a Wikipedia article

While investigating an article for Dr. Susan Myra Kingsbury, I chanced upon the following paper:

  • Luo, Wei; Adams, Julia; Brueckner, Hannah (2018), "The Ladies Vanish?", Comparative Sociology, 17 (5): 519–556, doi:10.1163/15691330-12341471

It specifically mentions certain notable women sociologists who are lacking articles on Wikipedia. Just thought it might be of interest. Thanks. Praemonitus (talk) 18:36, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Draft article for Kathy J. Warden

Hi there! I work for Northrop Grumman, and as part of my work to improve a few Wikipedia articles related to the company, I've drafted a new article about Northrop Grumman's current president and COO, Kathy J. Warden, who will begin her tenure as CEO on January 1, 2019. Here's a link to the draft article --- User:JanAtNorthropGrumman/Kathy J. Warden. I believe she meets Wikipedia's eligibility criteria and I've tried to be neutral and objective here.

The draft summarizes her educational background, career, board service and recognition based on reputable sources. I've disclosed my affiliation with the company on my profile page as well as the draft page. I think WikiProject Women may be interested in this draft. I know I should not make the article live on my own, so are any editors willing to take a look and update the article for me? All feedback is welcome, and thanks!
