Not sure if you saw this. Know there are over 4,500 pages awaiting review but this was has received work from a senior editor so is now in a much better position to be reviewed. Draft:Naijapals

Hello, I noticed you haven't approved the articles I started on Naijapals due to insufficient references, which is understandable. However, I need to point out that collation of references for Nigerian music sites is very tedious and difficult due to the manner which these kind of activities are covered in Nigeria. This perhaps is also the reason why most entries in "Nigerian Music Websites" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Nigerian_music_websites are not heavily referenced. One the standard of notability, Naijapals should at least have an entry that can be built upon, as it is more significant than the entries on currently in the Nigerian Music Websites category, giving its age, footprint and overall coverage. The references that I used in the article are also independent and very reliable, example is IT realms, which is published by a Not-For-Profit writer, Remmy Nweke - https://icannwiki.org/Remmy_Nweke and other source at Hiphophead.ng. Generally, I believe the type of coverage on this subject might not bear too much online links, but is extremely significant that lack of it will represent an important knowledge gap that is required to be available on Wiki.

If you can use Nigerian websites that have Wikipedia articles here or major Nigerian newspapers and journals, then stick with those. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:50, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

that's one other person from a year ago, and a second person speaking some gibberish I can't make out. That's not exactly what I would call "consensus". SacredDragonX, it's pretty poor consensus as listed, but other editors have chimed in to enforce it as it's one of those indiscriminate lists that can't be maintained. The sourcing provided was mainly fan pages or actual visits to the park. I can't remember if Universal Studios Hollywood itself maintained such an official list and if it did, it didn't mark officially when characters were added or removed. The current one is just brief [1] and not comprehensive. If you want to just add some of the current ones and not a full list, I would be okay with that and having it reference the official website. Added another. The coverage of the character's reception is pretty good as I think it surpassed Itachi's article. I tried rearranging some sections per introduction, background with Hashirama Senju, and his role in the series. How does this work? Whenever I created articles I never went through an AFD or something like that. I think there is enough balance of inuniverse and real world information to make it an appealing article that just needs to tide up some prose issues from reception. (talk page watcher) Honorablesculpturesinc, the simplest way to change your username is probably to go to Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple, click the blue bar there, and fill in the name you want to use and your reason for requesting the change. You should probably do this fairly quickly, as your present username is pretty inappropriate. The established article is a disambiguation page so it doesn't really fit there. Can you check whether the literature refers to the rainbow bridge as the equivalent of the bifrost (norse mythology) or the pets version, or is it literally a bridge that is made out of a rainbow? I have been maintaining each-and-every annual/local borough council election page, for HYNDBURN (Lancashire), for more-than-a-decade & counting.

On election-day itself / every 1st Thursday in May / I am in regular contact with the officials at my local council office, to get the official/final results for each electoral ward (I've previously made the mistake of 'copying down whatever the local press [hurredly] mistypes into their LIVE REPORTING blogs) --- which isn't a problem, as I MYSELF ONCE-TWICE-THRICE stood as a Candidate myself, and in short *** THEY KNOW ME ***

Usually, a week/fortnight/month or so, after the current election ha concluded, I dig up "the results from the previous 3-yr-old election" - I copy n paste into into a draft version of NEXT YEARS election-page, I revise the layout to match whatever NEWER "pips & whistles" have been used to jazz-up THIS year's [template >>> and retro spectively apply those SAME "pips & whistles" to the earlier-previous-3yr-older wiki page, to maintain a STANDARD look-n-feel]

THIS YEAR - however, was the very FIRST AND ONLY TIME, that a singular/random/anonymous person has chosen to ACTIVELY BLOCK the publication of my/our/LOCAL-Hyndburn-2020-Next-Standard-Election-Cycle, wiki-page.

      • This is also "MY FIRST TIME", taking up an [issue] with somebody else across the wikipedia-platform ... ... ...


FYI - the very first HYNDBURN-LOCAL-BOROUGH WIKI-PAGE was based on a copy of our (geographcally) neighbouring BURNLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL wiki page .... over the MANY YEARS SINCE, the "HYNDBURN TEMPLATE" has SIGNIFICANTLY ***EVOLVED***, whereas if you browser the Burnely equivalent - you will see that THEY HAVE NOT !

I myself "only tend to the LOCAL BOROUGH COUNCIL / Lowest Tier of Elections" , I DO NOT *mess about with Lancs-County-Council-WIDE wiki-pages (which cover the WHOLE of the Northwest, once every FOURTH YEAR), I only tend to the "1/3rd or seats UP for election, across years 1-2-3 of that SAME 4-year cycle".


FYI - "I" stood in RISHTON-2012 as a Local Ward Council Candidate, was asked to stand as a Lancs-County-Council Candidate in 2013 and stood again as a RISHTON-2014 as a Local Ward Council Candidate ..... I didn't actually get voted IN - however, RISHTON Residents 'still' refer to me as "Councillor Warren".

At this point the event is still too early to be of any use. There aren't even any opposing candidates who have filed registration. No independent news articles have talked about 2020 election yet. As soon as those are getting filled in, then that would be the appropriate time to introduce the article into mainspace. Otherwise it's WP:CRYSTAL. 95.248.236.31, I would just list the main characters and scrap the minor ones. You can use Google translate tool if you need to get descriptions from JA as a starting point. For the Napoleon ones, you can just list the main, and then have a paragraph where they reference historical figures, except Napoleon probably is a main assuming the title. 182.54.155.2, please go into further detail on the criticism of the book. Add the reviews in a Reception section and the authors (and newspapers) who critiqued the work. 182.54.155.2, I would move the critiques to the Reception section and describe what different writers have thought of his work. (writer1 of magazine1 liked that (criticism1) but thought (criticism1b) ) There should be some balance as to what they thought about the writing. The summary can just be the summary of his book. As for the two sources, that is more pointing out that he criticized his former coaches/teammates/etc, which could go in summary, but what we need is an independent book critic to discuss what he or she thought of the book. It might be good to explain whether Mashrafe had a role in the biography, whether he did exclusive interviews with the author, or got to influence what got written about him. To convert to prose, you write it like how I previously listed. Example: AngusWOOF in an article for Wikipedia wrote that the biography "was quite informative but seemed disconnected from the subject because the author didn't even talk to the subject." The ones posted seem like random blogs that might not be authoritative. Something like Bleeding Cool would be better, and, of course Variety (magazine). Winx Club character

Hi AngusWOOF and sorry to bother you with a long message. I know you've helped out with issues on the List of Winx Club characters page when I was cleaning it up and adding references, so I was wondering if you had the time to weigh in on this discussion. It's a long thread so I'll recap:

When I was sourcing both the main article and the character list, I thought this was a pretty simple statement to source, that the character Roxy joined the Winx Club for the fourth season (as the seventh fairy, after Aisha, to join). I found a lot of sources directly from the show's production companies that specified this: "new entry in the Club", " "Roxy the seventh fairy", "seventh fairy...Roxy will join the Winx group", "Roxy the new Winx fairy", "joins the Club", etc. However, the user Coolak seems to think that Roxy did not join the Club, with their reasoning being that the 2019 version of the website no longer shows Roxy (the same website did feature her during her season) and that there is a sentence on the site that says "Roxy and the Winx" (the same section says "Bloom and the Winx", so I'm not sure how they came to this conclusion).

Even though I've asked many times to continue discussing on the talk page, my newer posts there have been ignored. Since this started in April, I've only wanted a calm/civil discussion to resolve any misunderstandings, but it's been getting a little out of control. Thanks so much. If it's gotten to the level of edit wars by random IPs then maybe it needs page protection. When I last checked the official website when Season 7 and 8 were active, as well as when World of Winx was broadcast, Roxy had never been given the usual main characters treatment, but if you have older official website material that did list her officially as a main character, then you can cite that and that would help keep her listed in the main characters. Thank you for the reply, and yes, the 2009-2010 version of the website featured her in the main group at the tops of all pages. Her WinxClub.com bio from back then also called her a new entry in the Club, which is in addition to all the sources I linked above that called her the seventh fairy to join. Formatting song titles

Hey, AngusWOOF, this is a minor issue but I'm not sure how to format Japanese song titles. Japanese song titles are complicated because they don't have international titles. Which of these would be more acceptable?

  1. "Into the Daylight (Hikari Sasu Hou e) (into the daylight～ヒカリ射す方へ～)" (transliterated + original title under quotations)
  2. "Into the Daylight (Hikari Sasu Hou e)" (into the daylight～ヒカリ射す方へ～) (transliterated title in quotations only)
  3. "Into the Daylight (ヒカリ射す方へ)" (with MOS:JAPAN in mind regarding tildes, and imitating how songs in Korean are formatted)

Track listings can vary. I looked at Ikimono-gakari's discography and each album article's song list is slightly different whether they include Nihongo names with the Kanji or not. But most Japanese titles go by the transliteration AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 21:10, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You can move the kanji and translation to the notes section if it is a track listing, see DNA (Koda Kumi album) for another way to list it. Hi! I saw you decline the page I was trying to create on wikipedia! Ok, Im new on this and I have honestly any idea of how it works and how to have it done! I just know this: The text I add is the text we used on our website which its explain and describe the Lost on You project! The media links are not build by us. Because our hard work and the importance of what we do all those magazines have talked about us. Is not the rolling stone but the person who doesn't know the magazines I mention then have quite a very small knowledge about electronic music.

Lost on You ( the record label) is a project created to help children from poor countries, and since we started in january 2018 we have been donating all the income from our music sales to help children around the world.

Mayorgeneraljm, please read WP:ADVOCACY and WP:COI. The cause or organization needs to be described in a neutral tone. It needs to be referenced by external sources not connected to the subject. All the external sources I used on the references are well known music magazines on the music industry that have written about the project. You can make a request over at WP:REQUEST, and list three (WP:THREE) secondary reliable sources that best represent the organization. Or you can rewrite just a short draft that references those sources only, but it has to be completely neutral. No advertising. No "we" stuff. No saying how it is a great organization. Crown Weasel, it might help to identify WP:THREE articles about the author. Also, it would help if it chronologically explains what the author has written and the subjects or genres. Is the author a children's writer? Fiction writer? Non-fiction? Also any critical reception of the writings can go along with the writing. Gotcha. There's more I can provide for notability of the Spartan Dischords. I'm doing my best to find all of it within the realms of Wiki guidelines. As for, notability regarding a national presence, much of the information I was gathering came from a Documentary made on the group and further backed up by event sources. Both parts of that documentary are linked on the page already in references. Hi, I would first like to start off by saying thanks for reviewing my article quickly! Whenever I contribute to website like this it takes sometimes the full suggested 8 weeks or even more to hear anything about it, so I appreciate it.

With my tone, after you said that I think I understood what you were talking about. I think in that last paragraph I made it more an promotional opinion. Which I do usually try to shy away from, but I was corrected in this case.

As with the charting, the only thing I was really able to find was that AllMusic review, as it seems like that's the only readily available professional published review that I could find. I even went through all of Google's 13 pages when looking up "The Blues - B.B. King album review". Of course, there are the user reviews but that's not published and it can fluctuate. And really I didn't want to do it, but the only chart information I could find on it was in that article, as even Billboard's website doesn't go back to 1958 for the Hot 100, only to 1963. You can manually go to 1958, but King's name doesn't appear anywhere, only a hand full of artists do. I am not sure where their "Black Singles" chart history would be, as I can't find that on google either!

I don't HAVE to be the one to do this article, as it's really just my first one and I used the guidelines the best way I thought I could. Would you be able to point me to where I can get more chart information for an album from 1958? I would really appreciate it so we can get it up and running! And if it's not you, should I ask the Help Desk?

Hi AngusWOOF. I submitted an article for Phillip Ahn M.D. and i have now edited the draft with more information and references. I am confused why the original comment "seemss like one credit in a videogame is not enough" because I did prior research before submitting and Daniel Pesina has a Wikipedia page and he also is also only known for Mortal Kombat II. I have linked more references and Ahn's photos are even on WikiMedia Commons already.
