How does X work?

I made a mistake while trying to move from my sandbox. Please help me to fix it. Hissamelriys (talk) 11:45, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you mean the intermediate move to User:Pocketbook application, you fixed that yourself already. I don't see any other significant problems regarding the page move, though the new title probably still isn't the best. Huon (talk) 13:56, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for checking. Would you mind suggesting a better title? I will highly appreciate your help. --Hissamelriys (talk) 14:00, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I see another editor Pppery has moved the page to a new title. Thank you. --Hissamelriys (talk) 14:03, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:JSDelivr logo.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:JSDelivr logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:52, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Ways to improve Roobee

Hello, Hissamelriys,

Thanks for creating Roobee! I edit here too, under the username Doomsdayer520 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:-

Thank you for your new article on Roobee, but I recommend adding more evidence to show notability, beyond the company's basic existence. See WP:NCOMPANY for pointers.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed a file deletion tag from Kevin Leyes. When removing deletion tags, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. If you believe someone is a sock, you should present that evidence instead of making accusations, particularly as the deletion nomination is rather clear, despite it being malformed. Praxidicae (talk) 20:08, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sundayclose Are you sure? A new editor with just 3 edits placing a deletion tag and you think we should be wasting time on it? Hissamelriys (talk) 20:09, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't want the article deleted, express your concerns on the AfD page. If you think the editor is a sock, you need to go to WP:SPI or WP:ANI instead of inappropriately removing the template. But a word of caution: You've already gone to two admin boards, and forum shopping is a very bad practice that won't get you any support. My advice is let the AfD work itself out the usual way. Sundayclose (talk) 20:15, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sundayclose Thank you for the advise. I think I should focus on improving the article now. Hissamelriys (talk) 20:17, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Praxidicae do you have any suggestion as to how I can open a spi with only 1 account with no idea who the master might be? Hissamelriys (talk) 20:11, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have no idea who they are and while I too find it suspicious, I'd focus more on improving the article for the reasons I just pointed out at the AFD. Praxidicae (talk) 20:12, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Praxidicae Thank you for the suggestion. I have focused more on improving the article. I was not sure how to add the additional newspaper and TV show links so I added these under a news separate section as "media coverage" and few more in other sections. Can you please check the article when you have time? I will greatly appreciate if you re-consider your vote on AFD after checking. Hissamelriys (talk) 16:39, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Hissamelriys. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Hissamelriys. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Hissamelriys|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Template:Z159 GSS💬 05:56, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure what has made you think that but I am not being paid directly or indirectly. --Hissamelriys (talk) 06:36, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
