EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ is the world's most prestigious business award program, recognizing the unstoppable entrepreneurial individuals who demonstrate vision and leadership. The program supports entrepreneurs as they unlock their ambitions by connecting them with their peers and providing relevant insights to help navigate their growth journey. As the first and only truly global awards program of its kind, EY Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates those who are applying purpose-driven leadership to innovate and build long-term value for the world. EY recognizes them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries.

EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year

Every year since 2001, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award winners have gathered in Monte Carlo, Monaco, for EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year will be broadcast live on 4 June 2020 in a virtual experience produced by EY in collaboration with CNBC Catalyst. Viewers can register in advance via ey.com/weoy.

The national overall award winners are reviewed by an independent judging panel of business leaders and previous award recipients. [1]

In 2020, EY introduced the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ people’s choice vote. Everyone is invited to view the award winners’ profiles and profiles and vote for their favorite entrepreneur before the global premiere on 4 June 2020. The people’s choice vote will be revealed following the live show and posted on cnbc.com/weoy and ey.com/weoy. The people’s choice results will not influence the independent judging panel’s selection of the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020. The panel follows a rigorous process that applies six global criteria to all competing entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneur Of The Year Alumni Social Impact Award

Inaugurated in 2018, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Alumni Social Impact Award recognizes the achievements of business leaders whose legacies have had global impact. This award is peer-selected by EOY alumni that form the Global Alumni Council. Recipients of this award are considered to be EOY alumni.[2]
