Custom signature fix needed[edit]

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error, specifically a missing formatting tag.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Add closing italic markup after the "t", or make other edits to make the signature appear how you want it to appear.
  3. Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.

More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures or respond here. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:18, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Following up on Jonesey95, you can preserve the appearance of your signature exactly, and eliminate the missing end tag, and also bring it into compliance with HTML5, by changing it

Thank you for the structure tables for the Bach Cantatas! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:06, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No problemo! I know it makes it a lot easier for people reading them to see what's the instrumentation, keys, time signatures, etc.! --❦Cans48☙[t/c] 16:07, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. We have an editor who doesn't, though. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:32, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I wonder if you trim the tables by saying "col soprano" etc. in an introduction. I don't know how to "fix" your signature, to not disturb editor colouring, some italic sign seems not to match. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:43, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The "col Soprano" I added since: It is in the oldest extant version that I can find, and also because it shows that it is not an independent part, but rather just a doubling of an existing part. I have no clue how to fix my signature lol, I've been trying to for ages. --❦Cans48☙[t/c] 22:33, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I didn't mean to not say it at all, but perhaps above the table in prose, - in the table it looks quite repetitive. - I wonder what it is in your signature that causes the editor to get the colours wrong, - unmatched italics, if you ask me, but I'm too tired to see where. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:46, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Recent revert on Nebelung[edit]

Hi Cans48—thank you for noticing the disruptive editing going on in Nebelung. Please note though that you accidentally reverted back to the disruptive edit here. Obviously this is an understandable mistake given the chaotic edit warring going on there, but in the future please be a bit more cautious when reverting. Perryprog (talk) 03:44, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oops! Very sorry, I didn't see entirely what I was doing. --❦Cans48☙[t/c] 03:59, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Catholic monarchists requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! An article you recently created, Saint Mary's Church (Biddeford, Maine), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 19:08, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
