  • curprev 07:3307:33, 3 August 2023Wikiejd2 talk contribs 12,445 bytes +497 This is not an editorial comment, it is clarifying facts. If someone was to read this article, they would be under the impression that Ireland still has noblemen. That is factually incorrect. It is a fantasy to call yourself a lord in a republic. If I styled myself as The Grand Pastaman, this would either not be allowed on my Wikipedia article, or it would be annoted to explain that it is made up. undo

Your opinion on titles is not relevant. No new titles in the Peerage of Ireland are granted, and acceptance is subject to the point mentioned, but that has not stopped succession of existing titles for the whole history of Ireland as an indep. state. undo Tag: Undo
  • curprev 18:5718:57, 2 August 2023Wikiejd2 talk contribs 12,488 bytes +540 Clarified the legal status of the titles that Conyngham styles himself as. An IP address removed this, calling it "irrelevant". Please bring discussions around relevancy to the talk page. undo Tags: Reverted Visual edit: Switched
