Power Rangers Operation Overdrive
Template:Future tvshow Power Rangers Relic Hunters is the working title for the 15th incarnation of Power Rangers due to air in 2007 in the show's 15 Year run and now 5th year on Toon Disney and ABC Kids.
As in the past, this is highly likely to change before the official announcement of the series name is made in June, 2006.
Basis
Power Rangers Relic Hunters is based off of its Super Sentai counterpart, Gougou Sentai Boukenger. Very little is known about Relic Hunters as of April, 2006. Relic Hunters marks an anniversary point, being the 15th Power Rangers season, while Boukenger celebrated Sentai's 30th anniversary.
The color scheme is Red, Blue, Black, Yellow and Pink. This color match up was last seen in Power Rangers: In Space. While Gougou Sentai Boukenger's theme is treasure hunting, it is unknown at this point if this will be theme for Relic Hunters.
Based on Boukenger, the Red, Blue, and Black Rangers are male, and the Yellow and Pink Rangers are female.
Trivia
- Based on the Henshin Devices seen in Boukenger, this will be the fourth time a morpher will be based on a cell phone, following Denji Sentai Mega Ranger, Gaoranger and Magiranger, and their American counter parts, Power Rangers: In Space, Wild Force and Mystic Force.
- On April 17, 2006, a member on Rangerboard had pointed out a website appearing on the internet. The title for next year's Power Rangers' series could be Power Rangers Relic Hunters. This is not known officially, but according to the link, Disney has bought a website with that specific title. [1]
