Notability[edit]

Pakendorf meets Criterion 3 of the guidelines for academic notability as an elected member of the Academia Europaea. Muspilli (talk) 13:46, 3 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That looks to be well short of the expected mark; had they been an Honorary member, that would be a different matter, but ordinary member seems insufficient. Klbrain (talk) 16:11, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Criterion 3 of Wikipedia:NACADEMIC states: "The person has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association". Ordinary members of the Academia Europaea are elected; and the Academia is a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society. She thus straightforwardly meets the criterion.
