Undo the previous move 1

{{movereq}}

This is a proposal to undo, with all due respect, what the learned closing admins had erred, despite a majority arguing and voting against the previous move request. The reason is that WP:Common name should not override WP:NPOV, the latter being the top of the three core content policies of Wikipedia and is non-negotiable as declared by Jimmy Wales [1] [2]. The People's Republic of China is not universally recognised as China, and in many cases even if it's recognised as such, it isn't recognised exhaustingly as the sole China. Many western countries only take note of PRC's position regarding Taiwan, yet do not recognise PRC's sovereignty over Taiwan. Wikipedia should therefore reflects the fact that People's Republic of China and China are two separate concepts, and that the two should not be equated. The proposal will also involve rolling back the deletion of the content in Chinese civilisation, and redirecting China to China (disambiguation) as a protected redirect.  Not done: Banned users are not allowed to contribute here. Elockid (Talk) 16:23, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's interesting. I remember a while ago noting that China did not redirect to PRC. That changed at some point, I suppose. The Sound and the Fury (talk) 18:17, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The article was moved quite recently. See the FAQ at the top of the talk page which links to the move discussion.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 18:26, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I concur with the arguments presented above. 1.65.193.46 (talk) 10:57, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Will no man rid us of this meddlesome trolling? This IP is in Hong Kong. Kauffner (talk) 11:33, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since no arguments are presented, and this has been discussed at huge length recently, I think it's right to close this request straight away.--Kotniski (talk) 11:36, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
@Kauffner: I smell some commenting on editor, not edit there? The current handling of China-related articles on Wikipedia are heavily biased against the popular view of Hong Kong people, so such "meddlesome trolling" is actually an unsurprising mainstream. This isn't a valid move request. It's a sockpuppet edit and placed on a redirect talk page. SchmuckyTheCat (talk)
